  1. My condolences to Markus' family and my thoughts are with you during these difficult days.
  2. saints 2 plymouth 1
  3. john mcgrath coming out last with those silly short shorts on. admiring the first clattering he would give somebody in the first five mins
  4. agreed that we need to learn to set our own tempo and move a lot more than we did the other night, that will probably determine our success next year
  5. I think he is saing that the tactics that Oldham played will be seen more and more next season and we will need to stay together and patient when we have these frustrating tactics against us, I dont think he is criticising just setting expectations
  6. I ordered mine by post first morning and have them, but not where requested so think that telephone enquiries or big number enquries wanting to sit together has ben satisfied first
  7. I had same situation and was told very curtly by the ticket office that the highest priced tickets were over subscribed so everybody that did not get one of those was moved down to £44 priced ones and we were moved to £34 ones. He said that we would have to turn up at ticket office to have money put onto a card, not sure how they can do that if original was not paid by card but that was it... hope this helps
  8. I think it was somebody like stockport or bury that got kicked straight out no replay when they did the same against Chester city a few years ago so there is precedent on this
  9. didn't we have a vote on where we thought we would finish and the majority thought mid table. I think that we have got to enjoy the stability of this year that we have been crying out for over the last three years, and will be in better shape for real go at it next season as a better team. I do think that AP needs to think about balance he seems to be trying to wok out who can do what and how they all fit in mix, it's a lot harder as a mgr when you have so much choice. stay with it, more frustration I am sure as our expectation grow.
  10. lee carsley did this for everton and brum and cant get a game now
  11. lee carsley, who is on his way out of brum
  12. I am afraid boys this change is going to take some time and balls to get us through this. I still think we haven't enough good players with winning mentality and steel who lift the side when things are not going so well. I didn't particularly like or want Pardew, and jury is still out on whether he is the right man, but changing now will not make things any better. This will take time and a lot more investment before we get to where we would all like to be. On a positive note I thought there were times last night where for the first time for years it looked like we had a team
  13. I have 2 season tickets in block4 and got call today telling me that back 4 rows are going to be closed all season so have been moved
  14. whatever next... you'll be saying Sven to Notts County next ha ha ha ooops!
  15. given us hope when we had none
  16. Markus welcome to the best part of Hampshire and I hope that you enjoy your saturdays in the future as much as I have over the years... thanks for giving us all hope
  17. I think that the only decision that needs to be made now is go ahead or not. The football league will not change their minds. What on earth can they be getting opinions on now!! and anybody who has worked with lawyers will know that certainty is not their strength so they will not take away the ambiguity if that is what they are looking for soooo regretably it is time to **it or get off the pot and well done for having a go either way guys
  18. Everything I have heard from you so far Tony has been respectful of all parties and if this is the line you will take us down as a club I am sure it will bring the future we all hope for. thanks for taking the time and for thinking of us
  19. thank you Tony and your team for creating hope for the future
  20. lots of syptoms...lack of the right leadership is the cause
  21. I can accept losing, I can even accept getting relegated as part of footie, but the thing that is most difficult is having no clear future and having no hope of things being different and better at the club regardless of what happens. This heightens the feeling of helplessness when I sit and watch as a season ticket holder week in and week out, the faith is thinly stretched today!!!
  22. Can you imagine the pressure that will come on these young players as we get near the end of the season? They are struggling now, losing here, losing there, but this will not be a patch on what is going to come in May. I am the end is inevitable
  23. I have been watching saints since 67 and believe me this is sh**. I have not heard so much tosh spoken for so long, when the boys are saying its difficult playing at home well yeah it is when you play like that. Tipi tapi school boy football 47mins I had to wait for a shot on goal, but thats ok so long as your careers stay on track eh!! Lowe you haven't a clue, businessman !! get yourself a brewery and give it a go cos you sure cant run a footie club oh well rant over!! sorry I just care and feel frustrated that I cant make a difference
  24. sad to say I agree, 67 was my first game and I just cannot believe what I am watching. Being a saints supporter you know that you are going to get more downs than ups, but I cannot see any positives in this at the moment. The choices seem to be to go along, sit watch and suffer or do what most people are doing now and stay away. I do this more now for a few beers with my old mates than the game oh my oh my. If anyone out there can save us step right up dont sit and watch us go under...please
