Absolute rubbish! Whilst many thought he wasn't right based on his history, he came out with the right words and everyone was onside. Losing 4 on the run with this squad in this league, playing inept, passionless football and players out of position is why everyone has turned. He's not the right fit. If you're happy to watch mid-table or worse championship football where they tip tap around with no pace and concede exciting counter attacking goals, then well done you.

Point someone else raised that I think is valid, why shoehorn people into a rigid "system", why not model the system to be more fluid and suit the player's strengths better. If he signed (he won't) and stopped half the goals (either by being a better goalie or by shouting/organising the defenders better), then you alter the system to take into account the bit he's not so good at. Just my view anyway.

Utterly dreadful match, really very bad, can't pin it all on Holgate although he was shit. However, with the international break coming up, I hope this is a proper slap in the face the squad and coaching team need to know that they can't just rely on having the "best squad in the league". Learn from it, become better, much better and play up to the hype rather than just believe it and fail.

8/10 for me.
