It's really not rocket science is it? Generic influenza has a vaccine every year that anyone of us can take up. I have it every year as I have sh*t lungs and am in the 'at risk' group. Anyone that doesn't have the vaccine that should have it is a moron. This strain of Coronavirus has a) no vaccine yet and b) a ridiculous period where people can spread it around without showing symptoms. The NHS will be f**ked if everyone like me (and the elderly) get it. This is sudden and unprecedented, certain people need to wake up and realise that for the next 6 months, life is a little different. I'll happily volunteer to be a vaccine guinea pig, but until the point that is available, I'm hiding.

The Sunday Times - Southampton put up for sale at £250m
Patrick Bateman replied to The Odd Guy's topic in The Saints
As "SOUTHAMPTON FOOTBALL CLUB LIMITED" is owned mostly by "ST MARY'S FOOTBALL GROUP LIMITED", which is turn is owned mostly by "LANDER SPORTS (UK) INTERNATIONAL INVESTMENT CO., LTD" and Lander has one sole owner (Gao) and just two Directors (Gao and Tim Greenweel - who?), then you're probably right as the directors of the first two companies wouldn't need to be informed if Lander was for sale. Why is it so stupidly convoluted though, all looks like a bloody fiddle - I'm sure there are tax efficiency reasons and so on ... but. -
Guido Carrillo - Official: Free Transfer to Elche
Patrick Bateman replied to Mr X's topic in The Saints
I honestly don't know why the club don't write a couple of these players off as losses now. I don't mean end their contracts, I mean let them go for 'free'. So there is no charge to buy the player, but the buying club will use the transfer money saved to supplement the player's loss in Saints wages. It's a win win surely? Saints get rid of these useless, idiotic signings that are harming the club, the players move on and the buying club gets a player more cheaply. Looking to make ANY sort of transfer fee for this lot (Carillo, Lemina, Ely-can't be bothered to spell him name, etc) is ludicrous. The latter admittedly is the player most likely to see some sort of small fee. -
Why are there 2 matches today? I thought it was the "winter break"? Am I missing something?

Yes we do have the worst home record; https://www.soccerstats.com/homeaway.asp?league=england

Agree with all of this! This team need to be more clinical, full stop.
-
I can't take what ANY Spurs fan says seriously, they're mostly all complete bellends.
-
It's quite obvious; the club need a quality right back and Bertrand has a gob and needs replacing. 1x centre back of obvious quality and the team will be fine.
-
Ralph still has the backing, we know that and it's justified - no other manager could get more from this bunch of c**ts. A few players are excused, i.e. Ings

A tale of two Cluster***k Windows - Jan 17 & 18
Patrick Bateman replied to Dusic's topic in The Saints
But the black box has 5 players for every position that have been monitored for years to asses skill and temperament, right?? -
I bumped into an ex-manager of ours on the morning of a play off match, in the Grand Harbour, bloke stunk of booze.
-
Plus points; - Saints were by far the better team - I don't think we'll go down - Ings is quality as are most (more on that in the negatives) of the others - 2 winnable games coming up and Saints will never win 5 in a row (I'll take 2 wins, a loss and 2 wins) - It was Newcastle away, a proper bogey ground, hate it - When the team break, they do look dangerous Negatives; - Cedric is utter sh*t, must get rid and get a quality right back in Jan - Need a centre back as well - Should've scored 3 in the first half when on top to make sure Newcastle didn't come out rejuvenated as they did - Subs were weird - As much as I like Long, I'm not sure the team can carry someone up front with no end product - Coaching team still needs some help / overhaul - The goalkeeping ...

Good match, solid enough performance. Ings was excellent, Cedric is f**king awful - he needs binning off now.

No, Beeks was a multi-shared account by a couple of people having a laugh. I started the "Roger Beeks is old bill" thing and it stuck.

Hojbjerg was f**king crap, AGAIN.
-
I can. Let's be honest, Pochettino is a very good manager, he's been there 5 years and done well without winning anything. However it's now a downward spiral for them as they're stale, a new top class manager will have them challenging again ... until 3 years later when it's a downward spiral. Pochettino will do well at (for example) Man Utd.
-
And now he's p*ssed of Farage ...
-
I didn't see Lowe!! Damn.

You're hideous, a proper bellend, just like you are on here

That was the first event, yes - was a good day out with some actual legends! Last person I "met" from here was The Cat, stood next to him at Leicester away a few years ago.

Yeah, we first met around 1998 ... think it was the pub on Northlands Road, or maybe the one next to the Mayflower. With Jon Stallard and Malc etc. This forum sh*t doesn't work for me now, it's all too emotive and people read things how they want to read things, which is usually angry, but I know you're a decent bloke.
