  1. One bright spot, he looked like there was something there
  2. I have never seen so much fake Stone Island in my life, sad.
  3. Crap match, although second half was better, crap atmosphere for a derby, was about as toxic as fresh water from the tap. Annoying. Giving the team the benefit of doubt though, a 2 week break with some missing, loads of new faces, so let's see what the next couple of months bring. If it's still like this in 5 or 6 matches, let's hope Danny Rohl is still available. But hopefully it won't come to that, fingers crossed.
  4. Those 2 sites aren't available most of the year though, St Marys especially so - AND it's a pig to get to relatively speaking compared to the Rose Bowl or the Toys r Us site. Toys r Us site and surrounding area would be decent for a mid-sized indoor arena I think. I mean granted the TV companies seem to only go to indoor arenas in Manchester now, but surely we're all dying to see Taylor Swift and Dua Lipa in Southampton? See I'm down with Gen Z and A.
  5. An erudite and articulate skate ... nah fair play Andy, I thought he was decent on that.
  6. This, took me a while to find it. Embarrassing ... https://www.facebook.com/hawkinsandjoseph/videos/eddie-crispin-on-britains-toughest-towns-programme-when-it-featured-portsmouth-t/818151095061636/
  7. I had the first half of that on in the background, Charles was pretty good I thought, he did run a lot, got stuck in, good passes, good positioning. Pleasing to see from a Saints perspective.
  8. Does anyone really care? International football has got shitter and shitter
  9. Why is he going through some woman's luggage?
  10. At the end of that statement they missed "18 months later" - ugh, click bait.
  11. I'm pretty sure we'll see Azaz and Fellows start against Portsmouth. Both already used to an English derby and knows what it means - I suspect the others may start from the bench. Mads will obviously start too, but he's now an old head in the squad 😂
  12. I think we have room for football romance and the obligatory ex-Saint annual re-signing. It's not Fraser Forster, Danny Ings, Stuart Armstrong, Ward-Prowse or Oxlade-Chamberlain, it's Romeu. He's experience, he's quality cover with the experience to close a midfield with 10 mins left in a tight match, he's future coach. I'd be okay for this season with this ex-Saint rejoin romance ...
  13. Exactly how I feel about Saints. I couldn't stand most of the squad for years now, especially last year. Far too many going through the motions, doing the bare minimum, a few who weren't bothered at all, no connection between players and fans, dead. Now, already I feel more connection, majority of the old squad been moved on and I feel excited for this season - I genuinely think Saints will win or be top 2 AND I'll like the squad again, is that too much to ask? 😂
  14. Because it appears that HMRC changed the rules on the tax exemption status of these investments and then retrospectively pursued "missing tax". It's not the first time the rules have been changed and then HMRC have retrospectively pursued people - plenty of contractors in normal work have felt that too. It's like driving at 70mph on a motorway, having your numberplate photo taken with the date and time, then a year later the speed limit being reduced to 50mph and them deciding that you did 70 once, so you must pay a fine. That's how I take it anyway, I might be wrong, but I do feel sorry for them.
  15. I don't think they are accurate, but it doesn't matter, it's the rough ball park when you add them up that is scary. £30-40m per annum saving is HUGE! (whether they are individually right or not)
  16. Wait until everyone on this forum sees Oxlade-Chamberlain on that list ....
  17. Good grief, another non-prolific striker, no thank you
  18. We will demolish them.
  19. Get Eileen Drewery on the case.
  20. I would agree - plus, these new guys (and there are a lot of them!) can no longer revert to Russball, having never played it ... so no excuses now 😂
  21. Well, my post from merely 6 days ago aged really well. Great work, I love being surprised, nice one
  22. Enjoyed watching all 3 speak, very clear and well spoken, seem like decent guys, but Fellows seems to have something about him, excited about the derby, grinning about the coaches in the play offs - good guy! Well done the club, a good day.
  23. Love that he gets the derby ... tactics 2nd, win 1st, good man
  24. Same, might want to prove a point? But yeah I'd give Bamford a go at Saints too.
