0-0 and Match of the day won't even bother showing it.

Annoyed and already bored of the football before it's started. Pissed off and they wouldn't get my money. Absolutely fine.
-
So it basically says nothing, it's clickbait? Sigh. Mind you a headline of "Adam gives player motivational talk to help him push on in a weak team" doesn't quite work ...
-
Absolutely, 100%, this.

i think he'll be here next season, got a lot of learning to do, why not do it here?

Been a while since last "where are they now (posters)" thread?

Beeks wasn't the police, that was me messing around years ago saying he was as it was funny all those years ago. His account was shared by a few people (if you remember the guy from Liverpool and special K etc). Sadly Colbury passed away, lovely guy. -
Who the fk is Will Still? It'll be Rohl.

Every time I see this thread, I'm still baffled that someone "appreciates" this prick.

Yeah my son's school do it for year 5 every year for a whole week. They all have to take their bikes to school, get the bike assessed (mainly for size to ensure it's right), they right around the school grounds first to get assessed for a few things, then spend 4 days on local roads in small groups. It was nice last year actually as I jumped on my mountain bike too and cycled through the woods at the back of my house to his school with him and back,

A glorious day yesterday filled with pride

Did you prefer watching the ships in 1914 or this week? -
I imagine for a couple of main reasons; 1. The Irish have recognised (and celebrated) St Patrick (and his day) for nearly 1000 years 2. America. Given the vast influx of Irish to America, cities like Boston started having huge St Parick's day celebrations to recognise their Irish heritage - and being America, well, nothing is done by half. Meanwhile we sit here whinging that no one celebrates St George, but I think there are cities and areas at least trying now - trouble being it's not a national holiday I guess?

I see a good player in Archer. But he is one of MANY players in this squad that aren't trying hard enough and appeared to give up earlier on, going through the motions, seeing out relegation. So along with all of those players, he is welcome to leave the club, in my view. If he wants to crack on, score 18 championship goals again next season then fine but I can't see it happening at Saints right now.

Why? Not sure I know the picture here.

Remember when you were last happy as a Saints fan

This. My favourite Saints team ever, even more so than Ball's and Strachan's. -
The Starmer Years - Can The New Broom Sweep Clean?

Easter Sunday, not Palm Sunday, is the most important date in the Christian calendar as it celebrates the resurrection, eternal life and the victory over sin. So I would expect it to be mentioned then. -
All 3 look great and much better than what we'll probably get dished up. And to echo Alehouse, dark navy blue shorts please with the home kit.

Our fans: loyal and positive, or noddy and soft?
Patrick Bateman replied to Midfield_General's topic in The Saints
I do actually have an issue with this, one of those players was Jamie Vardy and whilst we all can't stand him, he's now a Leicester legend and he's been LOYAL to them when he could've moved. Not his fault he's still picked and probably not the player he once was in the top flight - although he's still managed 7 goals in that dreadful team and that's more than our strikers combined I think? So how do you differentiate that chant between players, you can't. -

This is it for me - the club has been completely mismanaged by those responsible for hiring, training, fitness, everything. Whilst I wouldn't have clapped the players personally, I don't think they can really be blamed. Lack of fitness and not being good enough for the Premier League is not really their fault. Juric as I said on another thread I can't really blame either, he had a horrible job to do and yes, he made some weird decisions, but I agree, my anger is direction 100% towards non-playing staff. Hopefully more changes will happen, ESPECIALLY in the player and manager recruitment and fitness areas. -
Hardly surprising, but I wish Juric all the best. He took on a very difficult job, with unfit players, the wrong players, players isolated from the team and a hiding to nothing. He was treated to yet another clusterfk of a transfer window in January. Yes some of his decisions have been bizarre, but I think he at least showed some balls. Good luck to him and hopefully now onwards and upwards again for Saints with the right manager being given access to the right players, get them fit and firing.

r u ok hun?

Interesting. I mean yes, he is rude and obnoxious and a complete prick, especially the way he tries to talk down to her, BUT, BBC news people do interrupt, they are irritating. I can't remember the last time I watched a BBC news interview and didn't say "For gods sake, stop interrupting and let them speak"!

I'm still baffled by the thread title. How can anyone appreciate that prat?

Best club in Southampton was The Wall - behind the Walls. Small, underrated.

That's depressing
