I really can't help laughing at you Alpine, although I can understand why other people get p****d off with you: you pounce on the negative like a primary school bully pounces on the nice kid. It wasn't brilliant, we're missing our best player who can unlock defences, we looked tired, had a man sent off, Reading had done their homework and we didn't play well but still got a point away. Just finished a lesson so €25 to spend: might go for beers today as I drink wine too fast. A couple of local Morettis and a couple of Budvars in the fridge and Marstons Pedigree in reserve 5 floors down in the cellar. I hope these are going to celebratory beers, not consoling ones...

Here I am.. Cervinia opens on the 29th October and the real alpine Saint will be there: my bank account has taken a hit as I've already got my regional ski-pass (with 40% residents discount). As I've lost a lot of my teaching hours as a result of the crisi I could well be using it a lot if I can afford the petrol! When I went to see the pre-season at Thun the other season I chatted to a scientist working in Switzerland but I can't remember her name. I'm not one for wearing footie shirts around but I do wear mine to training occasionally, and my car is easily identifiable;-), but never seen any Saints insignia on holidaymakers. I keep hoping for a pre-season friendly on this side of the Alps, and getting a few well paid days of interpreting work as well!

I suspect basic plans are already in existance (with loadings/stresses calculated) as the stadium was designed with expansion in mind. How long it would take to throw up an extra tier on one side I've no idea. There must be the odd site agent on here, so let's wait an see.:-)

I thought our ball retention was good, very few wasted passes, although penetration and finishing still lacking a bit. Not sure why people on another thread are moaning about atmosphere: maybe the mikes were well placed but sounded good on the box. What chance of a stream for the WH game?
