  1. FF's personal issues were... personal.
  2. Well, I dipped into a stream with Japanese commentary and there they were ordering Lice.. I kid you not!
  3. Yes, but although I'm sure he watches all our games and can assess our players on the pitch it's not his job to have widespread knowledge of all the different leagues: that's the professionals' task. Reminds of Rupert Lowe asking about Tommy Forecast and being told he was &*^% and the staff member explaining it was his job to know. Lowe still thinks he knows better, the objectionable man.
  4. I don't often write here what I'm thinking, but what a load of *****. Plus the article is illustrated by a random lower level football ground; don't even think it is Eastleigh, which would at least have a local connection. I doubt Palmeiras have much money anyway, and wouldn't even pay him as much as we are.
  5. How good was he with the bar at the normal height?
  6. https://www.theguardian.com/football/picture/2026/jun/09/david-squires-world-cup-reimagined-gianni-infantinos-west-side-story-cartoon Oof.. They haven't opened comments yet, I wonder why..?
  7. Yes, just your common or garden hard core pornographer/pimp. On the Millwall forum one of the them who used to work on the print confirmed that he handled some real nasty stuff from Sullivan.
  8. Stop making strawman arguments, that's not what they said. Can I point out that your reply is to someone pointing out we don't know yet what our final keeping line up will be. No point the patronising laughing, which is more appropriate for the rest of us about you. Gawd, I'm getting grumpy in my old age!
  9. Found someone with a similar name singing at Italia90.
  10. Crikey, I'd forgotten about Ramsdale. Forgetting about Bazunu was deliberate..
  11. No, from just general chatting to people it's very specific to the location of where it's being held this time. People had concerns about Qatar and human rights and sports washing (ditto Russia) but even more so this time. At least previous countries tried to appear to be welcoming.. My latest conversation was with a Pompey supporter down the allotment yesterday, and he was very rude about Trump and his US. Let's hope the Scottish and English supporters do us proud with voicing those opinions..
  12. Well, all of Boris's mistresses seem to have been blonde, as well as his various wives - it's so easy to lose track. But please don't introduce that other idea, I have a strong gag reflex. 🙂 With regard to injunctions and all that it's handy that after he got one of his girlfriends to procure an abortion another one refused and then sued him for child maintenance. The advantage of having such things reported in open court is that they are then a matter of public record... It might not get reported in The Telegraph or Mail but other publications are available..
  13. I agree! But you're only 58? Had you down as much older..
  14. Preferably out the window, surely?
  15. Gosh! Interesting mention of Boris Johnson.. he does like a blonde, doesn't he?
  16. Another idea.. from a very respectable ~80 year old season ticket holder to whom I told the good news about Peretz. Regarding the Middlesborough games, and I quote " all Saints fans should wear t-shirts with a picture of Hellberg's broken heart and his single tear on, together with two fingers". I told her that was vulgar dear.. When do the t-shirts come out? We both can't wait..
  17. I didn't think there were many public toilets there Verbal. These days it's probably all country lane laybys and steamed up windows.
  18. At Italia 90 in Cagliari all the FSA (football supporter's association) volunteers went off for a meal at a local hotel.. The Hotel Flora.. I wonder if it's still.. ahem.. the same.. I'd buy any of them a pint if they did!
  19. Is that MattPB a parody account? Or just somebody with more issues than just supporting Middlesboro? Henry Winter I can understand as he used to work for a parody newspaper along with Alison Pearson, Allister Heath and other right wing mouth frothers at The Telegraph, and it seems to have infected him.
  20. You'd very much have to come to that conclusion, fingers etc crossed. This place is always trying to predict reading the tea leaves, of perhaps more appropriately, the entrails!
  21. We heard you the first time..
  22. I was never very ambitious but the biggest lesson I learned in my working career was never to assume, check and refer upwards if necessary. Somebody responsible for high level decision making should be the same and take specialist advice if necessary. As in traffic accidents never admit liability even if you were at fault. If what we did was "rife", do we have evidence of that? Decision making has been appalling, communication worse and I truly hope that as CEO if he is truly on holiday he's constantly on the end of his phone. Of course we've been stitched up, but we've allowed ourselves to be.
  23. Was it on this thread that I read that a lot of the evidence that the EFL relied on was oral? Was it subject to cross-examination? Stupid question, I know.. Does _anyone_ emerge from this affair with any credit?
  24. I read the title as Radclyffe Hall and got all excited..
