  1. So it's "overly negative" then...
  2. Have you ever considered if there might be a reason?
  3. Playing the bones... a percussion instrument!
  4. That's the spirit!
  5. Sorry I'm late, been giving a bones lesson.... We're the Italy over here.
  6. ? Idkwtfyata
  7. That's a good point. When did we last get a penalty?
  8. What about shinners, in-off-knees and that painful left-titter? Well, it wasn't a header that's for sure...
  9. A proper fan then, never mind who he supports!
  10. The only time I've had breakfast was when staying in same hotel as aged parents had thus had an early and sober night!
  11. Different league mate!
  12. Yep, I do too. As for people watching on Saints Player: well, I finally cracked and got a subscription as reading the match day threads on here was doing my head in and I can now check afterwards to see how much rubbish we were all talking. I've looked into coming back for the Walsall match (being optimistic...) but couldn't afford it so I could be settling down a few days after with a bottle of prosecco to watch (celebrations, I hope!).
  13. I meant about his surname. Trust you to be nasty!
  14. .. and if SuperMikey applies they'll think he's taking the p**s!
  15. Stoke City (Captain Smith came from Stoke and people from Northam never forgot).
  16. One job even included taking things out of boxes: in this case cutting open tea packets and pouring the tea back into the chests! I also worked on a local building site, mainly making tea, bacon sarnies, fry-ups, sweeping up and helping in the site office. One day though a huge artic arrived full of bricks and it was everybody to help including me and the site agent. This was in the days before cranes so it helped me get nicely toned! Picking tobacco in Canada paid well too, but in my day we had grants !!, so I didn't bother working in term time. On the post at Christmas, of course..
  17. So we can presume all that saw that game and can will be back for Charlton - it sounded great on the radio? How many more though? We should start to ramp up those crowds. Should I risk booking a flight for the Walsall game...
  18. It sounded great on the radio. I got so depressed at 2-0 down that I turned down the sound and went off to do some tidying. Couldn't resist of course and came back later just as Forte scored, and as I was writing on the match thread he equalised... The sound of the crowd was amazing; that deep throated roar when people just let themselves go and there's no embarassment about making a noise. The winner.. well, I wonder what the next flat thought! If 22k can make that noise, what will the next home crowd do, and how big do you reckon it will be??
  19. stadium is rocking. That's the first time I've been first to post after a goal. Don't think I'll be switching off again now though!
  20. Turned off the commentary in despair at 2-0 and just turned on again... come on!!!!!!!! yess
  21. Sounds noisy... I've forked out for SaintsPlayer as I couldn't put up with the tension of following the games on here. Plus I can wander around doing things.
