If wages are a problem perhaps we should use the bulk of our cash in raising them across the board, with clauses about relegation of course. Might mean we could then get targets to sign. Gamble, sure, but cash burning hole in our pockets not working on fees.
Used to really like Liverpool. Now I hope they do a Spurs, post-Bale and have lots of in-fighting and no team spirit with all these incoming, edging Rodgers out of the door in so doing.
I think he will do annoyingly well at first. But then the stroppy Spurs fans will get on his back after a loss to Arsenal and a few other dodgy results and Levy will get rid
That is really not a lot of time in which to instigate team spirit, tactics and togetherness amongst a group of strangers, and even less time if we haven't got key players in/out yet. From here it looks like a season of just about staying up.
That training kit is embarrassingly cheap looking. You can almost hear the friction when they run. Fire risk. And Koeman looks like he's wearing a bin bag. Roll on next season and Adidas
But some players are never quite the same after such an injury. i suspect he might go down the Michael Owen route, as, speaking from experience, the injury tends to throw out of sync other areas, for example weakening the hamstrings. Hope I'm wrong.
