We should play him more, especially at home when teams come and park the bus. In most games I've seen this season we have had trouble unlocking defences, which he can do. Should play him in the hole, behind Osvaldo. Think Rickie's gone off the boil a bit/people finding him out (as cliche goes). Gaston can still do the unusual. (as could a certain MLT)
I think they play a more attacking style than us, to be honest. Our slow build up play from Wanyama and tight defence (joint best defence in league) hides our lack of goalscoring. Worried about Michu, but reckon we'll get a 1-1 draw.
I think he's more likely to go to Man Utd when they get rebuffed for Leighton Baines. Really hope not. We need to stop this talent drain. He's excellent. Plus I hate Spurs, the more so since they started singing our song, the unoriginal berks.
Ramirez for J Rod please. And consider taking Ricky off (shock horror) at some point for J Rod after he's knackered their defence out physically and J Rod's pace can exploit any holes
He'll be good for them. And will score on his debut. Speaking of former players, have we definitely agreed that Puncheon can't play against us on saturday?
Thought he was just what we need at West Brom, but at home against West Ham was perhaps not the player to play and he tends to slow things down a little too much. Away a different proposition where he can help very much in stopping oppositions playing. Overall shouldn't be getting all the flak, to be honest.
Drop JRod for Ward-Prowse. Wanyama a different proposition away at league leaders. Bring on Ramirez for when Ricky tires and play one up front. Put Cork on the bench too.
Agreed. He's very frustrating because his feet and brain have a disconnect. No composure. No position feels quite right for him. Why Ramirez didn't come on yesterday is a total mystery.
However ugly it was, he showed he was more tactically astute than MP, which isn't to say I'd prefer him as our manager. Just that MP doesn't seem to be too good at thinking on his feet. Or seeing the need for players who can pick the lock. Has he got a defender's mindset?
