Having done this injury myself playing footie, my heart goes out to him. Bloody horrible. Often think a leg break would be preferable. Get better soon AB
-
Didn’t see anything to disbelieve there apart from the guy not having that many followers.
-
We lost 2-0 to Bristol City. Blimey.

That’s put a few quid on Salisu’s price. Bad luck Newcastle.

And being subbed off! Belgium look old and slow

Gutting, isn't it. Penny pinching.

Just listened to Jose Fonte being interviewed in the pre-Portugal build up. I do hope he becomes Saints manager one day. What a good guy.

Do we think our first team would beat Qatar?
-
Yeah, but I THOUGHT it meant that anyway. 😉

Makes you wonder why we didn't get him in sooner. Ralph was so obviously a busted flush and we may have some more points on the board already. Guess he felt like he couldn't leave Luton just yet

Will be a bit jealous if Bournemouth get Bielsa tbh for all of the good mood music so far with Jones

superb post. thanks!

Enjoyed all his interviews. Says all the right things. Hope he gets a good and open reception from the players. Crucial he wins them over, perhaps with his reported individual presentation skills. Actually quite optimistic but needs buy-in all round.

Is Selles going too? Quotes tonight seem to suggest that. We are all Ralph’s men and women, he said.

Something to build on. Sort of.

What? Wow. Yay! Blimey. Hooray.

Gotta hope one of theirs misses. Has McCarthy been beaten at the near post on penalties too?
-
Uh oh. Pens. Not confident. Can we sub Keeper?
-
Spurs and Arsenal out. Liverpool held by Derby. West Ham by Blackburn. So in good company.

McCarthy in ‘shit goalkeeper’ shock

It's going to be a bit messy if he turns us down after all this.

The one thing the fans need to do is welcome him tonight, if he's there. Any boos are very counterproductive. I'm much more optimistic now having read up and watched him in interview than I was when he was first rumoured to be the one (although that may yet change). It's a gamble, but I quite admire the owners chutzpah in going against the grain and hopefully opting for the long-term rather than short term gain. Although of course survival is an absolute must. Not that that would be guaranteed with, say, Dyche. (if he would even have taken the job)
