Down all season? The earliest you could say that would be the home loss to Doncaster, almost halfway into the season. I'm not sure its that we have no fight, no passion... maybe its that the players on the pitch are simply not good enough? a lot of overrated players. huge wage top player possible saviour Saganowski on the BENCH!!!?!?!?!!???!!??!!?? Not right. More the fault of off the pitch and managerial decisions than the players not showing enough effort.

Uh Oh, we're in trouble, I think Tudgay is going to burst our bubble Uh Oh

All in a row!!! Which one to believe!!! COYR
-
Said by a club that not too long ago were in League 1 themselves... I suppose they know what they are talking about!!!
-
Interesting opinion. Feelings will be inflated during a game, "knee-jerk" isn't the right word, although I hope you know where i'm getting at... We are likely to be docked 10 points (this season or next) We don't know who our new owner will be (if any?) and how wealthy they will be Those 2 things are more important than this result when it comes to long term future. 45 minutes? survival? not for me, but I respect how you feel.

Helpful, but unfortunately irrelivant unless we get the win. If we win, we would be able to suck them back in. But we need 2 goals... anyone got them?
-
Some would say that would be better than our actual defence.
-
As a referee myself that simply isn't right (if true). He'll get a telling off, for sure won't be getting important games at the end of the season (if true). How on earth he feels that he is in a better position to call it than the linesman looking across the line... bizarre!!! (if true).
-
You could say it has been coming. We need 2 goals now. We've done it before, but... rarely
-
If the way of play was the other way around we'd be saying "we all know what's going to happen now..." maybe Saints will score...?
-
I will lol when it happens!!! IF it happens (hopes)
-
Good luck... was thinking about that 5-0 last season!!! hopefully it will fire them up (apart from the fact that only 4 of the team remains from last season) COYR WE NEED THIS
-
He must be getting a bit ******ed with coming on after 89/90mins all the time!!! Hold on Saints!!! this is huge regardless of other results
-
At the end of the day, as long as we win our game, that is what matters most. We CAN win every game, and if we do that we will be safe for sure (or at least not start next season with -10) COYR
-
Sounds awfully defensive. Must not sit back and try to defend it as obviously it shoots you in the foot.
-
HOLD ON NOW!!! come oooon... we are giving ourselves a chance... 10 points from the final 12 needed, this is a desperately needed 3... HOLD ON!!!
-
at least they'll be in the almighty Championship - "the gateway to the promiseed land" next season!!! we need to score in the next 20 minutes or we're finished!!! SAGA needs to come on for a DM.
-
not good enough. and its happening all too often. getting desperate soon...
-
If results stay the same all it is is further confirmation of our miserable fate. COYR score for once!!!
-
My hope may be gone but I am still staying up for this one... if we win then maybe we have a chance of survival. Only a win is required though!!! COYR

At the end of the day, when the deal is done it will be done in time, and the administrators will have selected who they feel was the best option. They take their time because maybe this best option has not become totally clear to them yet. Coventry had a 'similar' situation (although this was over only administration). They had to wait until the final hour for SISU to come in and save them. Hopefully it won't get that tight, although I won't be surprised if we don't hear about anything until the last couple of days.

Someone who knows League 1. Who maybe has taken a team up from the division before. If by some miracle we are in The Championship, and Wotte doesn't stay, i'd love to be able to attract a name like Curbishley, although realistically it will have to be someone like Steve Cotterill or Sven Goran Eriksson...
-
I would probably take League 1 without a points deduction. Things that are worse that I would not like to see include: League 2 or below League 1 with any points deduction Championship with a substantial points deduction The most important thing for me is that we start next season with zero, like everyone else. If we don't, for me it will devalue the season, and being out here in Australia I fear my commitment to Saints may dwindle. Next season needs to be one where the fans start to unite again, where we all have confidence in who is running the club, where we have a normal manager who stays for the entire season with some normal professional and not overpaid players, and where we actually have a feel good season!!!

So, how much does somebody have to stump up ??
brightspark replied to Smirking_Saint's topic in The Saints
So that means around 1.5% of what is needed has been "promised" on the sticky thread. As much as it's an awesome effort, if that figure is true, it proves how hard it is going to be to find a decent buyer who the fans are likely to respect. -
If everyone lived up to their promise here... the current total is: 45000 + 1500 + 42000 + 9000 + 10000 + 20000 + 50000 + 100000 plus = £287,500 plus whoaa
