Maybe we should make this the official takeover thread II since now it is one week since the first official takeover thread.

I believe that the league won't change its terms, and Pinnacle won't accept. For that reason, another Saints dream is ruined, and NO gets my vote. I wish I was born in Hull.

Saints fans never seem to get good news, so if any news, i'm consigned for it to be bad. Though I think that the most likely scenario will be no news. Because that is the most frustrating. Someone is trying to make us all suffer as much as possible deliberately FFS!!!

As a 17 year old who probably takes in on average 2000mls of alcohol in a year, which isn't much at all (so much so that I call myself a non-drinker) I am actually fairly humoured by the amount of fans to the facebook page of 'drinking'. IMO, the number of people who have gone through the time and effort to click the button that says 'become a fan of drinking' is a worrying figure for any do-gooders in this land. 1) Anyone want to take a guess at how many fans there are on the facebook 'drinking' page (without cheating)? 2) As a second question to this drink related thread, if you are ALONE, and HAPPY, would you drink the Orange & Passion Fruit J20, or Fosters? I don't really think it's exactly their fault. Unfortunately, i'm kind of resigned now to hearing more and more and more bad news. I don't think anything will get done this week - so best not hang around the website continually pressing 'F5'

Is there any, ANY possible way that Saints, or even the majority of the fans, can take this case to someone out there who has the power to stamp on the Football League's disgraceful rulings. We really need someone to challenge what they are doing. Surely there are groups out there who can take the league down?

I feel more reassured that it will go through... hopefully with a right to appeal too. But I do get the feeling this is going to take the rest of the week to get sorted. How painfully frustrating!!!

So whoever Mawhinney's boss is (if he has one) will read it and think... "blimey, never thought of doing that before... what a good idea!"
