I know i'm not ITK. Does that make me ITK? But anyway, we won't get bought tomorrow because we're not a lucky or an average-lucky football club. We suck. Nobody really wants us, it's all "interest". If it wasn't just "interest" something would have happened this week, and we would have heard more from the ITKs. Friday is just the same as every day in the sodding week. What makes it different? Is it because it has Mark Fry's name in it?

I'm sure most fans from clubs in League 1 would be excited at the prospect of a player such as this coming to their club. I'm certainly happy to hear the news that Wotte is trying his best to get people to come to our club (even if only a trial), because really it's like asking a professional tennis player to form a doubles team with a cancer patient. Or asking a player to eat sh*t from a bowl. Not many people are going to want to come here at the moment!!! In fact, as painful as it is to here, a lot of foreign players will say "Southampton? Isn't that near Portsmouth". Not good times.

We won't get taken over tomorrow, it will be next week, because that's when i'm on holiday without internet access, and every time I log on and wait for news, nothing happens!!!

I think the loss of Kelvin combined with DMG, even if it seemed likely all summer, is close to ending our play off hopes. We need new players to sign for us. We need the damned takeover done and not f*cked about with any longer, and the new owners need to go straight into bringing in capable league 1 replacements.

I'm sure McGoldrick will turn in to a very good striker, scoring many goals next season for Forest. A blow in my opinion, he would have been very useful. We need to sign some strikers now if we want to compete (considering Rasiak and Saganowski are bound to leave... surely)

If 8 days = 59 pages then we can say that if this thread were to make 100 pages it would to have to remain open for popular discussion until Thursday Evening. If the takeover is not done, and this thread is not locked and put in the golden forum by then, we have a problem!!! Even if Pinnacle don't get it done by then, i'm sure the Swiss will have it sealed.

For all the money Crouch has supposedly put in, i'd feel a lot for Crouch if things don't work out.

I'm not sure everyone understands the situation. With so much uncertainty and panic, confusion is to be expected. But yes, I agree that it's unlikely we will leave -10. The league would be causing deeper trouble to their reputation if they gave us more points off, or if we are somehow able to get the points given back to us.

I understand this, so yes, I probably exaggerated, but still... it would take time for the new person to maybe settle in to his new role, and such a pressured one at that were he would have to work fast to get the job done. It would be a massive risk, and it would delay things even further - MAYBE too much further.

As the Pinnacle bid seems to sound worse and worse, maybe it would be best for the Swiss to come on board and take us up? Or is everyone just lying, for the sake of it? Say the Swiss somehow manage to takeover, I kind of hope everyone will still be able to get behind them - as I have got the impression from some users that it is Pinnacle... or a disappointment. Or is this only against the Jackson group? I would slightly support Switzerland at the next World Cup if they did buy us (and steadied the ship!)...

That would be typical actually... SO who are the other owners? we could have a similar thread as of last week. Heineken Girl? Rod Stewart? Jeff Stelling? Krusty the Clown?

If the case, it better not be another 21 days of nothing... because then we won't have a pre-season, we won't be able to bring in players quick enough, and key men such as Kelvin Davis will be at a different club (he will be forced to, basically) Does the Swiss consortium have a reasonable financial backer? (ie, better than the average richness in football clubs)
