  1. I want him to do well, but I'll be amazed if your last sentence comes true. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
  2. Would be disappointed if Gabbiadini now goes. For me, he's our best striker. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
  3. I heard there's an obligation to buy, not option. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
  4. I would seriously have been happier if we hadn't bought him. Or are you happy because just spending on players shows intent, no matter how badly you spend? Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
  5. Thank you for saving me typing all that. Exactly true. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
  6. Just spreads the cash flow. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
  7. Don't get me wrong. I'd love him to be a great success and will be the first to celebrate if he is. But I fear he's far more likely to become the next blocking wage burden for the club. What happens if he spends his normal percentage of the season injured? Do we still have to buy him? Seems ridiculous. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
  8. Spending £20m plus four years' wages on a highly injury-prone player? Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
  9. That sums it up for me. Ridiculously risky buy. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
  10. Strange. I read that he's just missed the pre-season tour to recover from injury! (Like what Sherlock said, so it must be true) Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
  11. I hope I'm wrong but this seems like another panic move. Six starts in three seasons? I agree that I'd much rather see Gallagher given a chance. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
  12. So we have a chronic injury problem as backup to a chronic injury problem. Fingers crossed. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
  13. Not happy with that. Will it be subject to medical? Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
  14. I'll agree to disagree. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
  15. The problem is that Charlie doesn't hold the ball up - it rarely sticks, so doesn't bring others into play, has no pace and lacks movement. He does nothing by way of pressing. I'll accept that if you put it on a plate for him, there's a good chance he'll score. Long has been a good finisher in the past and I can see him doing far better this season - his confidence was shot last season and yes, he was woeful. But he works hard, defends from the front, presses, has pace to worry the opposition, win lost causes and hold the ball. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
  16. I read they haven't got many to rest. Only 17 fit, plus any signed today. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
  17. Austin's the better finisher, Long is better in every other respect. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
  18. Desperation? Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
  19. Fair enough but I'll be happier if it doesn't happen. Feels like another case of anyone is better than no-one. In fact, a bit like Carrillo. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
  20. Can't see any confirmation. Suggests maybe fell through. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
  21. I'm far from sure about this. There's a huge question over whether he can keep fit, a bigger one over whether he can be anything like his old self and I can't help wondering if this isn't just adding another at the same level as Austin or Long. Think I'd have preferred giving Gallagher a chance. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
  22. I'm sad to say Ive immediately "lost" mine. [emoji6] Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
  23. Can't see a loan and Saints are saying no. He won't be going anywhere. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
  24. Mine's finally appeared. [emoji106][emoji3] Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
  25. Exactly my team too. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
