  1. That's rubbish. Wolves are a good team. They pressed us well in the first half and we did well to get a goal on the break. Our second was good football. Seemed on top then, but two bits of poor defending, the first aided by a lucky bounce, and Wolves took advantage well. Overall we haven't played badly. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
  2. 2-1. Sloppy defending. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
  3. Obafemi looks good. We're playing well now. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
  4. Under the cosh most of the first half but 1-0 up Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
  5. But ST holders are counted whether or not they go. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
  6. Good analysis, especially the first goal which was slightly unlucky. And if Ings had put that chance away, would have lifted everyone. Think Giroud's space for the second was achieved with some holding and a "non-interfering" player running offside in front if McCarthy didn't help. It just seems at the moment that I'm waiting every game for us to just get a couple of breaks to boost confidence, but it's not happening. The ref didn't help, but increasingly against the top clubs, that's always going to happen. But I'm not totally despondent. Yes, we were backs to the wall for a fair bit of the game but we did create chances - at least 5 decent ones - and overall were not as bad as some are suggesting. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
  7. I noted that. Interpretation of the offside law is a mess. How can a player, yards offside, standing in front of the keeper and distracting him, not be interfering with play? And whist I'm at it, that was the most appalling refereeing performance I've seen in a very long time. Bertrand was booked out of frustration that the ref got the place of the free lick so ridiculously wrong. Thereafter, every Saints foul was a yellow. Most Chelsea fouls ignored, certainly no cards. Not disputing that the better team won, but it helps confidence when you've got such bias going for you. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
  8. Exactly correct and what I've been getting increasingly fed up with for some time. Once upon a time you could actually have sensible debate on here with reasonable respect fir differing views and intelligent analysis. Now it seems 75% of posters are only interested in slagging off the team, manager, owners etc if they fall short of their real heros - the "big" teams. You can tell the non-fan trolls and skates by the deafening silence after we do manage a decent result, or attempt to belittle it. And it's killing this forum the way so many post without having seen a game or even heard a commentary. Just wait for someone to blame the latest scapegoat then pile in. 9. Yes. It bounced to him away from a tackle, as far as I could see. Or at least, that's what set it up. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
  10. For most of the game today we played well. Liked the team, particularly second half. We had six clear chances. That's decent, but if you don't take them against a team like Chelsea, they'll punish you The ref was a joke. First goal was a bit unlucky - ricochet to Hazard in front of goal is as unlucky as you get. Second goal, we were distracted by to offside players from the initial delivery. Many refs would have said interfering, which they were. Just needed Ings (x2), Bertrand, Hoedt, to put a chance away and it's a different game. Yoshida made a difference to the defence. Liked Gabbiadini. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
  11. Fortunately I live close enough to this one to rearrange easily. But it doesn't change the fact that there should be contractual obligations to compensate when matches are moved after initial confirmation. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk

  14. Sky prediction is 1-3. Sadly, more likely, since it's now 43,649,169 days, 4 hours and 75 seconds since we beat a top six club. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
  15. All because of Sky, of course, as usual. They are on MNF the previous Monday, so Cup game can't be before Thurs, so our gets pushed back. At least they'll have played three games in seven days, but as they've got a squad the size of the population of Wales, won't bother them. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
  16. To Sunday 4th Nov. Unusual for a Sunday that it's a 3pm ko. Because City have to play their Cup game the previous Thursday, apparently. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk

  19. Thanks for that. Great to have an accurate eye-witness account rather than the deliberately negative b0ll0cks from those who were nowhere near the game and neither saw or heard anything of it. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
