Fair post but I don't think the people who you are speaking to have lost their perspective. There seems to be a frightening number who would rather no SFC than Lowe's SFC. I've read it all now. The two people and the two situations are not even comparable. This is up there with the "Mark Fry for Chairman" baloney.

I don't think a PLC is the way to go but it IS the only way that the integrity of the owner/chairman is accountable. Imagine if Lowe privately owned SFC... there'd be no one to answer to, not even the shareholders.
