I drove back from Southampton yesterday teatime and it changed from rain to snow on the A34 at Tot Hill. It's rained here today but it's been snowing again since 6pm.

To be fair to the lad, he never claimed any of this to be fact in his first post.

If you copy it in sections, and reference it properly, I don't see a problem.

Nothing appeared in the Echo to substantiate it and general concensus was to remove it, to be on the safe side. It still exists, and can be resurrected should evidence/further details arise.

Maybe, but I'm not too bothered about that, relatively speaking at least. I'm more concerned with protecting the site and its users from legal action. I'm no solicitor but some of these posts could seem a little bit iffy.

Well, I heard a rumour at the time (and that's all it is - no substantiation at all) that Crouch wasn't planning on retaining NP for this season either, and that he had another manager lined up. I've never been able to establish the validity of that but it would make sense of what you said.

A beautiful idea but the football and the politics seem so intrinsically linked at the moment that I fear we'd have no threads in the football area within 5 minutes of their inception.

I've got an iPhone 3g and I love it but i have to say the new Nokia 5800 kicks its arse in almost every way, functionality wise. Only the user touch interface and aesthetics of the phone itself are better on the Apple. The 5800 has 3.2mp Carl Zeiss camera, with 30fps video. Also, It has full bluetooth functionality plus flash support for the web browser. It's also about 2/3 of the price on PAYG as the iPhone. I won't be rushing out to swap my iPhone for one, but I hope Apple learn a few lessons for the 3rd gen iPhone.
