  1. Well said Bognor and (am I gonna actually say this?) WSS.

Just seen the demolition of the Colts' stadium on the news. It came down so fast and fluid you'd have thought they'd flown a 757 into it.
  3. That's a lot of kit for the money.
  4. What are their trade-in prices like compared to Gamestation and Game?
  5. Can we PLEASE lay off the personal attacks on one another? That's not what this forum is for, guys.
  6. You may as well. There are no worthy, or worthwhile, candidates.
  7. No argument that Lowe's presence is divisive but we were hardly united when he was absent.
  8. I'm not sure anyone could get all that out in one go. Good question though.
  9. Should be able to get a "well used" one for £1-1.5k, a spanking example non-turbo, sub 60k miler, for around £2-2.5k. A turboed import will be £1000 more, but worth it for around 5 second 0-60 times. On second thoughts you'd probably kill yourself. On third thoughts, go for it.
  10. Ahem, the.. er.. slowest and rustiest one..
  11. Does it annoy barstaff here if they end up receiving a £20 note as a tightly rolled tube? The longer I have to wait to be served while they gas away to their colleagues or a customer mate the tighter it gets.
  12. Yours is a Mk1, no? £600 was for a Mk2 (a proper car) and that was for the full clutch kit and as the engine came out to do it I had all the bushes/mounts renewed at the same time.
  13. We'll win. I have a feeling.

    Chants

As the Wildhearts sing, "...you don't belong, unless your c**k gets hard at a football song..."
  15. Which bit do you consider 'dreaming'? The bit where Labour get re-elected or the bit where they undo their mistakes? What will actually happen is that the Conservatives will bluster about Brown's stealth taxes and the general state of the economy, get elected and then carry on raping us all as the Nu-Labs have done. Same bastards, different name.
  16. No, I want someone else altogether. (Not the administrators or the bank btw.)
  17. Do we have average crowds of 12,000? I doubt it.. As for what he's thinking, I expect he's thinking much the same as the rest of us... "Ohhhhhhhhh Shiiiiiiittttt!"
  18. By voting Labour you already are as close to Tory as the Conservatives will ever get you. The only difference that I can see is that the Conservatives are less adept at hiding the taxes and charges behind spin.
  19. Actually, we just wanted to talk about you. Or, clear your cookies.
  20. I bought V for Vendetta ages ago on DVD and really enjoyed it. At the time of watching it I couldn't think of a single friend or family member who would have enjoyed it also. It's very much a 'Marmite' film IMO. You'll either love it or hate it.
  21. In rotation? That's pretty human to be honest. Sad though.
  22. Not me. What I often think is, "Sure, make a few more quid, it'll certainly help with your loss."
  23. FTD, if you can afford to, hang onto it until the new year then get it on Autotrader and on eBay. It's a fair price, assuming it's in tiptop condition, and you should get all of that in January. This is the worst month to sell a car.
  24. So James Purnell wants to hand the emergency, interest free, social fund loans over to private credit agencies, where loanees will be charged almost 27% APR instead of 0%. Surely Gordon Brown wouldn't allow the poorest people in Britain to be raped so? The capitalist Tory pigs are up in arms about this one, and rightly so. It certainly seems a strange proposal, given the current economic climate.
