  1. I was gonna say! Try telling the thousands of people countrywide who are out of work at Christmas due to "administration" that it isn't evil.
  2. How is saying that "administration is evil" being a Lowe apologist? FFS mate, get some perspective.
  3. Maybe. Depends on the subtext.
  4. I can accept that you disagree, it's no skin off my nose, but I can't think of a decent argument that supports you mate. No team that has gone into administration in recent times looks in particularly good shape. Leeds are bouncing back by all accounts but at their helm is still the same person who took them there in the first place. If we were to end up relegated, with a points deduction and STILL with Lowe in charge, would that be what we need? No, and it's probably the best outcome we could expect. It's a sad and desperate state of affairs at SFC at the moment, and so much needs to change (and quickly) but administration won't solve a single problem as far as I can tell.
  5. Huh?
  6. I reckon not going into administration is better than going into administration. It's a no-brainer I'm afraid.
  7. It's hard to argue that it would break the downward spiral, albeit by turning it into a downward straight-line.
  8. Seriously, do people actually read WS's posts before commenting on them?
  9. It was actually just for that.
  10. By the way, the 2nd movie is hugely relevant to the current economic climate. The explanation of the way money works at the start of the film is a real eye-opener. The second half of the film is a little fanciful but it's also highly logical. It's just a shame it's presented in what could be considered an unrealistic way.
  11. You should watch this too. http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=7065205277695921912&hl=en The second Zeitgeist movie, released in October this year. Anyone who can dismiss the content of these movies, especially the first, as fantasy, whilst believing unwaveringly everything we're told by the people in apparent power, deserves everything they get. Lambs to the slaughter. Peace, love and Rock and Roll, people.
  12. Was I being a touch unsympathetic to BTF's case then?:smt009
  13. TBF mate, it doesn't make much difference if it is the thrust bearing and not the clutch plate. You still need to dig as deep into the engine bay to do either and I'd definitely replace both while I was in there anyway. Most of your bill is going to be labour and they'll fit both as part of the clutch kit.
  14. I was so angry then that I forgot to capitalise the L in "leaving". For shame.
  15. To be fair, we've had plenty of "talks with potential investors that may lead to a takeover". Nothing to see there really.
  16. Oh for ****s sake. leaving your door key on the coffee table does not constitute a ****ing emergency.
  17. How soon do you need it J9?
  18. Very good price and very wise decision re. the breakdown cover. It might need taking there by Monday!
  19. Sorry BTF, it's indefensible IMO. You carry on though.
  20. You never know when they might be though... hence the word 'emergency'. If it was the pre-planned fires sub-department then it was, of course, different.
  21. You don't think it was a gross misuse of the emergency services then? In that case, I stand corrected.
  22. You didn't think to call a locksmith? Preferably one who wouldn't have the possibility of attending your 'disaster' while someone burned to death unaided elsewhere.
  23. Phlegm?
  24. Yeah I can, at least I always have been able to. Christ knows if Renault have pulled the offer with this recession but I haven't heard different. The Scenic was just an example of how prices have crashed in general mate, not a recommendation.
