Playing a weakened team in any cup match is an insult to the hundreds of fans paying to follow the club around the country or the thousands paying to watch them at home. Every match should be played to win and anything less is short changing the fans.

It was one of the dullest races I can remember. It was as bad as the last MotoGP race.

It's all relative. The R30 will be better than the R29 but it's all about how much better everyone else's 2010 car is than their 2009 models. We do have the most economical engine though, and that has to help with no refuelling. Plus, despite their b*tching, Red Bull have managed to win 6 races with Renault Power and haven't had to take a penalty for an engine change. It's all about our aero team.

I like seeing them lose and I can't understand the psychology of that Westwood bloke (nor those who allow him to ring that infernal bell) but I don't hate the fans. I worked in Pompey for a couple of years and enjoyed the banter. I never once felt threatened or intimidated by them.

Apart from firearms, other weapons and animals none of those things are prohibited at Silverstone, so let's not tar all of F1 with the same brush, eh George?
