That would make sense if the general election was about the single issue of Brexit but it wasn't. Each MP has the duty to do what they think is best for their constituents, they didn't stand on a manifesto to make their constituents poorer so that has obviously come into conflict with the deal they ended up voting for so have had to make a choice. There was absolutely nothing undemocratic about voting against May's deal or no deal Brexit. There is nothing undemocratic about a second referendum - if the British people still want to leave, a second vote cannot stop them.
-
As I have said before, the NI issue alone is reason enough to have another referendum.
-
This, any attempt at unification would be complete carnage, much worse than the effects of any border infrastructure.

This. There were lies told on both sides, much of project fear was nonsense just like that of the Brexit side. We have a much clearer picture of what Brexit means now than in 2016 even though there is much still to be decided. That’s why a second refurendum is the obvious solution. Let Boris come back with the best deal possible and let the people decide. Or we could just pretend we knew what was being voted for in 2016 and **** our country up to “honour a result”.

The vast majority of EU migration is the same race as us, not sure what racism has got to do with it. Skin colour is irrelevant when you are talking about the effects such as pressure on public services and wage depression etc. Having said that I expect a large amount of old people voted leave purely because they hate Germany, that’s still not racist though.
-
You are either a bit thick or on a wind-up, wether you agree with them or not the reasons the country voted for Brexit are quite clear. The effects of mass uncontrolled immigration are obviously a major factor, certainly amongst the leavers I know. You must have a very dim view of the British public if you think the 17million are all racists.
-
So my builder mate who voted leave because he is fed up with competing with cheap Polish labour is a bad person why?
-
That’s just complete nonsense, all that statement shows is that you lack the empathy to understand their point of view.
-
That’s nuts, politics shouldn’t get in the way of friendship. Just accept that people have different views on what is best for the country. I have some good friends who are Tories.
-
No, leavers said that German car manufacturers would be banging on doors to get us a good deal. Turns out they are way more concerned with protecting the EU and their supply chains. Anyway the politics of the EU means that even if they did then the EU’s position wouldn’t budge.

I thought we played alright, if we put one of our chances away in the first it might have been a different result, but probably not.

To be fair, MPs are elected to do what they think is best for their constituents, if they think the deal is going to harm the country then they will see it as their duty to vote against it. I was fairly pro Brexit around refurendum time but now it is clear that Europe are not going to give us any sort of decent deal, I think a second refurendum would have a very different result.

You've just proved my point - your opinion is just based on ignorance of the science. I'm not surprised Greta Thunberg gets up your nose, no one likes to be shown up by a 16 year old girl.
-
Sounds like you're just irritated that a 16 year old girl has a better grasp of climate science than you do.

An injury or two would be nice

To be fair "don't know" is an answer. Usually the stock Bexiteer answer to any question regarding the Irish border.
-
No, but it would stop them harking on about beating a team two divisions below them.
-
To be fair the carbon footprint of the average Royal is probably not very little.

It’s been a ****e window but the club are hamstrung by not being able to shift too many poor high-earners. Until we get shot of players like Forster, Hoedt, Boufal, Corillio, Mo, Stephens, Cedric etc we are never going to free up enough space on the wage bill for decent replacements. It’s going to be a good few years before we get over what Les Reed has done to this club, we just have to hope we can stay up long enough for them to see out their contracts.
-
That ******, if it’s windy you take that into account and take a few steps back, a school kid could be forgiven for something like that, not a Premier League player. Vestergaard gifted them two soft goals and could have done better for the third with his half arsed attempt to get across.

I disagree, throwing a 20 year old centre back into the Prem is obviously risky. Typical Saints signing, might make us a few quid long term, probably do nothing to prevent another season fighting relegation this year. You mentioned Virgil Van Dyke - at his age he was struggling to break into Groningen's first team.
-
Or the fact that Adams coming in is the only change to the starting XI shows what a sh!te window it has been. I thought this was supposed to be the summer of rebuilding?
-
Because we need a decent centre back now, not one who might be good in a few years that we can flog for a profit.

The motive for the Ohio shooting is unclear, the El Paso shooter posted an anti-immigration manefesto online. The Link with Trump’s ant-immigration rhetoric is obvious.
