I don’t think the defence is that bad, it’s just when you offer so little threat going forward you’re going to end up under pressure and any mistake is costly. It’s scary to think how toothless we would be if Redmond gets injured.

To be fair Lowe had to work under tighter constraints than the current clowns, he had the mortgage and shareholders to worry about. Obviously our current ownership situation is miles better than under Lowe but in terms of actuall descisions made by the chief exec then I’m not sure current lot are any better. We have £100mill odd of players loaned out to clubs across Europe and are starting with Shane Long up front. We are looking likely to be playing Championship football next year whilst loaning our right back to Inter Milan - the club is a mess.

The thought of Spurs winning the league makes me feel sick, almost as unpalatable as the victims. I don’t have a problem with City, every other club nowadays has a dodgy foreign owner, theirs just have more wedge. City’s fans have endured decades of watching sh!te and they turned out in numbers even when in the third tier whilst Utd rubbed their noses in it.
