  1. Isn't that more to do with NATO or the UN?
  2. I was thinking about replacing Adkins, to be honest I can't remember what happen with Pardew but I think it's fair to say you have a bit more wriggle room when bankrolled by a billionaire in League 1.
  3. Decisive action is unheard of at our joke of a club, I just don't get why we wouldn't have someone lined up to replace Reed before firing him. I hate to mention the "C" word but Cortese would have sacked Reed and Hughes and put the new people in place the following morning.
  4. To be fair he's not threatening him he's just stating a fact - the bloke is a socially inept ****tard. A caricature of what is most wrong with Internet forums.
  5. They’re just not very good at football.
  6. So it looks like either a **** deal, no deal or a people’s vote to try and reverse the whole thing. What a mess.
  7. Just symptomatic of the world we live in, pure greed. Problem is the people at the top who approve these pay-offs do so because they will be next in line. Looking forward to the day it all comes crashing down.
  8. That **** is going to eat some testicles.
  9. Sure, if you are good enough you take luck out of the equation but it’s nonsense to suggest there is not an element of luck in football. My point was that we put in half decent performances and came close to getting better results despite the team’s confidence being shot through thanks to Pellegrino. Hughes was fire-fighting from day one last year, however **** we are this season it’s complete rubbish to say he didn’t do a good job last year.
  10. I agree he should go but think you’re being harsh over last season. We were a mess and faced a nightmare run in, Hughes effectively kept us up with a game to spare. We were desperately unlucky not to get a win away to Everton, seconds away from a point against City and unlucky not to hold on against Chelsea. Flogging our best player in the Summer has ****ed us, I’m not sure anyone could keep this lot up.
  11. I’m sorry but as bad as we are this season he did well to keep us up last year. Apart from his first game at West Ham he didn’t have a bad result. Who exactly did you expect us to beat - Chelsea, Man City or Man City at home or Leicester, Arsenal or Everton away?
  12. Oh no what a shame. If the useless ****s did their job and won the odd football game maybe he would still have a job.
  13. Surely if we go down the DOF route then the logical thing is for him to pick the manager so that the playing style and philosophy match up?
  14. Leicester’s owner was respected because he actually gave a **** about the club and the city, the complete opposite if Gao. Reed’s farcical descision to sack Puel and appoint The clown would have been one of the reasons for him getting sacked tho, as it was just one of his many mistakes.
  15. September 2017 was the last time I saw us win live. I’m resigned to relegation already, stay up this year and it will be relegation next, it’s just a matter of time when the decision making at the top is so woeful.
  16. Get ready for a bat-**** crazy appointment if this is true.
  17. We’re **** this season but to say Hughes didn’t do well last season is complete garbage, he only had one bad result and that was West Ham away.
  18. Now would be the perfect time to change manager but I guess we will have to wait until Kruger finds a new DOF. ****ing mess.
  19. That could mean he will be sacked after Watford regardless of the result. I’m hoping they have the new manager lined up and he didn’t want to be told who to buy by Charlton’s worst ever manager, hence the change in structure.
  20. Anyone else expecting us to jump out the frying pan into a ****-off big fire?
  21. Wasn't that Kruger?
  22. Yep, we may well have won our second major trophy if it wasn’t for that.
  23. I’m just glad something is being changed, I don’t have a lot of faith in Gao finding a decent replacement but at least we’re shaking things up. It’s not rocket science though, just a bunch of blokes kicking a ball around a field - hopefully this can be the start of an improvement. Les was around for one of the most successful periods in our history, but that just happened to coincide with the only time we’ve ever been owned by a billionaire. It appeard as soon as Kat started tightening the purse strings he floundered from one bad descision to another. Clubs our size can’t afford to spend £20mill on a player and just send him out on loan, or have a 4th choice keeper on 100k a week.
  24. Problem now is that the job has turned into a poisoned chalice, we are going to struggle to attract anyone with a decent cv. Skint owner, DOF who buys the players but takes none of the blame if it all goes to ****e - the only person who would take that crap on would be relatively unproven or someone who’s been around the block with a mixed record.
  25. Bull****, he had a nightmare run in. West Ham was his only poor result.
