Because if you stand near someone you obviously share their views.

Redmond for me, looked our most dangerous player by far.
-
You’re completely missing the point as usual. You don’t go down for a half time pint to savour the quality of the beer, it’s a social thing - you put up with drinking luke-warm p!ss because you are having a laugh with your mates. Hard concept for some on here to grasp I know.
-
Don’t be so judgmental, you’d might fancy going for a half-time pint if you had any friends.
-
Apparently it's being refurbished. Typical Saints, a whole summer to sort it out and they wait until the season kicks-off.
-
A draw was probably a fair result, Burnley could have had a couple in the first half but we had our chances in the second. The players certainly looked happier once we changed to a back four. Redmond had a great game and Ings changed the game when he came on - it was so refreshing to see proper movement from a front player, I think he will prove to be a fantastic signing.
-
Because Liverpool wouldn’t agree to it?

To the tune of that World Cup kick, kick song: Ings, Ings, Ings, Ings, Danny, Danny, Ings, Ings Ings, Ings, Ings, Ings, Danny, Danny, Ings, Ings Ings, Ings, Ings, Ings, Danny, Danny, Ings, Ings Ings, Ings, Ings, Ings, Danny, Danny, Ings, Ings and repeat

Wiki says he grew up in Netley and dreamed of playing for Saints, but was rejected for being too small.

Where does it say we have to buy?
-
I’m just glad we’ve finally got another striker. Obviously a bit of a gamble given his injuries but gives us another option, could turn out to be a very shrewd signing.
-
Staying up would be a successful season this year IMO, think we really lack a goal threat unless we sign someone tomorrow.

Sayeeda Warsi Doesn’t seem to agree, and she’s a Muslim. Well, this approach is not just offensive, it’s dangerous. Johnson’s words have once again validated the view of those that ‘other’ Muslims. They send out a message that Muslim women are fair game. “What starts as useful targets for ‘colourful political language’ and the odd bit of toxic campaigning ends up in attacks on our streets.” The peer wrote that she was setting out “precisely why his remarks are indefensible” and said the phrases he used signalled something else.” But hey, keep on defending him and p!ssing your pants because Corbyn hosted a holocaust survivor who criticised Israel.
-
You’re right the clothing is a cultural thing but to say it has nothing to do with Islam is nonsense because Islam is a big part of their culture. Whatever the origins of niqab it doesn’t make what he said any less offensive. If Corbyn had made insulting comments about the way Jewish peopled dressed you lot would be p!ssing your pants.
-
So our former Foreign secretary is openly mocking muslim women about the way they dress and you are still p!ssing your pants over the fact that 10 years ago Corbyn hosted an event where a holocaust surviver had the nerve to criticise Israel!
-
Or they just don’t like Israel being criticised.
-
I was against signing Welbeck but would be happy with that now. Anything other than starting this season with the same lot as last - I really don’t get what the club are expecting to happen. Long or Gabbiadini to start banging them in or Austin to stay fit?

The Southampton Way - Now consigned to history?
aintforever replied to spyinthesky's topic in The Saints
The Southampton Way is just a load of marketing bullish!te, we are struggling because our owner doesn’t like spending money. -
I thought we needed a major shake-up up front this summer but all we have done is get rid of a striker. I’m not convinced either Armstrong or Mo is as good as Tadic either so might be weaker there as well.
-
... by a Jewish holocaust survivor. Do you seriously think he is anti-Semitic? Maybe he hates himself?
-
Possibly, it depends what process they have for choosing a leader. You would hope once he goes they would return to some sort of sanity.
-
I’ve always said it would take something very major to happen for him to have a chance of being PM and I still think that’s the case. As long as most of the people in the country are doing OK and have money in their pockets someone as extreme as him will never stand a chance. As much as I dislike this anti-semitism witch hunt by the media the one good thing to come out of it may be the end of Corbyn and a return to a more electable opposition to challenge the Tories but I doubt it.
-
Wow, that is SWF at it’s finest. Something no one on here has said ever. Even most Labour supporters on here think Corbyn is a ****. ****ing weirdo.

The so called experts premiership predictions for 2018/2019
aintforever replied to Pilchards's topic in The Saints
Champs: Manchester City CL spots in some order: Liverpool, Manchester United, Tottenham Hotspur Nailed on to finish 5th and 6th: Chelsea, Arsenal Boringly mid-table: Everton, Leicester City, West Ham United Struggle but probably stay up: Wolves, Saints, Newcastle United, Crystal Palace, AFC Bournemouth, Watford, Fulham, Burnley Struggle and probably go down: Brighton & Hove Albion, Huddersfield Town, Cardiff But to be honest, any of the bottom three groups could either finish 7th or go down, not a lot between them. Except for Everton who boringly wont go down and wont finish top 6, they will just be there in the middle somewhere. Arsenal may be a surprise package but I think Chelsea will be way off top 4, but still way better than the next best. -
It does put the media hype into perspective and highlight the agendas of people who purely want to smear Corbyn.
