  1. It’s madness they havn’t acted already. The international break was the logical time.
  2. I do about every other home game and havn’t seen a win since September 2017.
  3. If Gao is choosing the manager I am expecting something bat-**** crazy and this fits perfectly. I think we’re going down regardless of who comes in so we might as well go down in style as a proper laughing stock.
  4. I expect most people who voted leave didn’t give a sh!te about trade deals let alone understand the complexities involved.
  5. Just put the reserves out, we won’t win and will just get tonked in the next round anyway. Zero interest in what happens Tuesday.
  6. A couple of years ago you would have laughed at the thought of Big Sam but now if it was a straight choice between him and leaving it as it is I would probably take it. Very sad state of affairs but at least he would get the defence into shape and know what is needed to stay up.
  7. Complete nonsense, it will be even harder to get rid of the ****e if we get relegated.
  8. No but it makes sense for the new DOF to choose the manager.
  9. The club is just ****ed anyway, it’s just a matter of time until we go down with the descision making at the top being what it is. Sack Hughes and they will hire someone worse, not that it will make much difference with that shower of ****e of a squad.
  10. What’s the betting we lose to Fulham then Hughes gets sacked, thereby wasting the whole international break?
  11. Source?
  12. Maybe, but if you are bringing in a new DOF surely you want him to be choosing the manager so that their philosophies are aligned?
  13. Think his twitch has got worse, looks like what would happen if you electrocuted a bag of chopped liver. I'm curious to see what his face does with a cockroach crawling up his nose.
  14. Obviously. Maybe we should get a load of clever scientists to look into it - and not ignore their conclusions?
  15. Which is exactly why governments should take the lead and do the right thing.
  16. I think I do more than most, driving to London to protest wouldn’t really make sense though. I’m glad the protests took place and hope they catch on because our government is failing us. Our democracy is not great for making tough long term descisions.
  17. I didn’t vote leave precisely because it wasn’t clear what I would be voting for - turned out it was the correct move.
  18. You’re talking nonsense, the law states “clearly obstructing the opponent’s line of vision” - being in someone’s peripheral vision is not obstructing the line of vision.
  19. I agree in a way. We know way more about what sort of deal we might get than before the original refurendum, but I don’t think we will know what the best deal would be unless we actually leave. At this stage of the negotiation the EU are always going to offer us a **** deal, they will do all they can to make Brexit fail. In a way a second vote makes sense, it just doesn’t sit with me very well because it means any country wanting to leave just gets bullied back in. We didn’t know what sort of leave we voted for but we definitely knew what we were voting to get out of.
  20. I try to be as green as possible but could do more. You don’t have to live like Stig of the Dump to support these protests though. People are effecting change, it just takes too long with our system of democracy which favours the big parties. People voting Green has caused the main parties to include more environmental policies in their manifestos but they just say enough to get elected but don’t take the tough measures needed. I think history will show that these protesters are in the right, just like people who mentioned global warming 30 or 40 years ago have been proven right.
  21. It’s a force for good, I fully support it. No surprise at the usual nob heads on here disagreeing though. We should all do more to limit our effect on the environment but real change can only be made when governments do something significant. They all will eventually but hopefully protests like these catch on and help speed things along a bit.
  22. Agree, it is a vile use of language. He sums up all that is wrong with the whole Brexit debate.
  23. I guess one option if May’s deal doesn’t get through would be to amend the deal and go back to Europe with a second draft saying it’s this or we leave with no deal. Not sure there is anything that the EU would agree with that would come close to getting through parliament though.
  24. £5mill to give a bit of advice - **** me, these ****s really are on a different planet. Considering there is a fair chance we will go down this year you would think SFC would be a bit more careful with their money. We should make this a sticky for when they start handing out redundancies and asking us to throw money in a bucket.
