Why do people keep saying this nonsense, it's just complete made up bullsh!te. There was a bit of booing and a few chants from the back of the Northam at the final game, the only impact made by the the fans would have been by those who didn't buy tickets because they were bored out of their mind. That's like Tescos blaming their customers for not buy their food that tastes like sh!t.
-
Moyes gone now as well.
-
England are sh!t anyway, I would rather Bertrand had his feet up all summer and comes back fresh next season.
-
Agree with this. I don’t think the squad is that bad, it’s just been badly managed. A bit of a shake up up front and a replacement for VVD and Hughes can get this lot up where Burnley are. Think many on here don’t really understand how exoensive it is to have such a high turnover of players.
-
**** me, here we go. You just know Reed is going to make a complete balls up of this. I expect we are going to have the usual month of dithering before the wrong decision is made.
-
Would be nuts to sack Hughes. He’s got the team playing well, the players seem to like him, he’s a former Saints player. Hiring a football manager is not an exact science, you see managers turn up at Prem clubs with excellent CVs only to fail miserably, likewise you see odd oppointments become great successes - who would have thought Ranieri would win the league at Leicester? It may be that the combination of Hughes extensive Premier League experience and leadership qualities, combined with the club’s set up and recruitment policy prove to be the ideal match?
-
Typical, the one time you want Chelsea to win and they play like a bunch of ****s.
-
A very unlikely event will become even more unlikely if Huddersfield lose tonight. A 1-0 win could be enough to see Swansea safe so should they take the lead they will just park the bus. Likewise if City are going for 100 points, should they get to 2-0 they will just be happy to see out the game.
-
Bit of a daft analogy, supporters are emotionally attached to a football club. If some Chinese business people want to use Tescos to launder their money then leave it to go bust no-one would give a toss except for the staff.
-
Surely we can strike a deal, we let them have a 1-0, they get 100 points and we stay up - everyone’s a winner.
-
It’s a no brainer, he has to stay.
-
****ing awesome! Hughes has transformed that side.
-
I’m trying to think of something I give less of a sh!t about than what kit were going to ponce around the championship in next season...
-
Maybe it’s better to have players who want to play for Southampton? As the pundits have said, our policy was bound to catch up with us. No club can keep on finding better players, sooner or later we were going to buy a few duds and look surprise surprise, that’s where we are - relegated.
-
I expect Les is dithering other wether to have thin or thick stripes, we will miss the deadline and play in bin bags up until next March and look great for the last few games.
-
I would be surprised if we draw against Swansea and against City and stay up by the skin of our teeth when Swansea **** up against Stoke.
-
At least we know what we have to do, the late Everton goal was a ****er but today’s results have been good.
-
****ing ****s, sometimes I ****ing hate football.

It doesn’t matter if it was Cortese or Marcus but the fact was they talked about their plans and ambitions. Gao has a dodgy past, he’s borrowed the money to buy the club and he hasn’t said a word about why or what his plans are, who’s going to pay the debt off and how. All we have had since he’s been involved is player sales and a slide down the league, you need to have rocks in your head not to be concerned.
-
We will keep some players but I expect it will be the **** older ones on high wages that stay because we won’t be able to find a buyer. We will probably have to sell the likes of Targett to pay Carrillo’s wages. Hopefully they all have relegation clauses, no one seems to know. You would think it would be done by default nowadays.
-
£5mill is too cheap but someone on here said he was on 50k a week, we might have to sell if our finances are bad enough. It all depends on Mr Gao and his silence so far is not exactly encouraging.
-
We may be ****ed financially so I doubt we will even turn down an unreasonable fee.
-
To be fair Lowe sacked him early December which at least gave the next manager a bit of a chance to change things. Wigley was a worse appointment but keeping Pelligrino on until after the window shuts and letting him blow £20mill on one of his mates - then sacking him has to rate as the worst decision ever made at SFC.

Sell best players = football not as good
