You still need to explain why it takes courage to vote, where do you live, Baghdad?
-
You still sound bitter. Are you sure you got sacked because of Brexit and not because you spent all day posting cr@p on here instead of working?
-
To be honest my heart said leave but I’m doing pretty well, have a good job, nice detached house in a leafy part of Hampshire so there was no real desire for change. Hence I chose not to vote. Is that so hard to understand, even for you?
-
“Share oxygen with wastrels like yourself” quite an angry tone of voice considering you know nothing about me.
-
Yeah, because walking down to the village hall and putting a cross on a bit of paper takes real bottle I didn’t bother voting because among other reasons, I was on the fence. Still am to a degree, can’t stand the EU yet leaving has proved to be more hassle than its worth. Think you need to calm down a bit as well sweetie.
-
calm down dear
-
Shouldn’t you be looking for a job?
-
Yeah, because you’ve been bang on so far
-
So the Conservatives will force through a deal that Parliament has already twice said is sh!t for the country, just to get one over on Labour. Can’t see it myself.
-
When is the next round of votes then? I thought the next vote was for ‘no deal’ then after they it was for an extension?
-
If they wanted it to happen they would have voted it through today, waiting a few more days to ask the same question doesn’t make any sense.
-
No don’t think they can, as it stands on the 29th we have nothing to do with the EU.
-
Yeah, that went well
-
Article 50 can only be extended with the EUs permission so they can make us have a second refurendum if they want. The MPs all know this.
-
And given that NI or the GFA were barely mentioned prior to the first referendum let alone a major issue, that is reason enough alone to have a 2nd.

Amid the joy, what a story to wake up to.

So if Bradford fans start calling themselves 'Paki Army' or Brighton 'Faggot Army' - you would think that's ok? -
I can't see it being voted through, and a no deal definitely wont so that would mean a delay and the EU could insist on a second vote. The best outcome from this mess IMO.
-
I expect his insistence on using ‘Mr Cortese’ is due to him having a girl’s first name.

I tend to agree with David Baddiel's take on it. https://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2013/sep/17/david-cameron-yid-really-is-race-hate-word Wether your Mrs was offended or no doesn't change the fact that for some, Yid is clearly a race hate word. Would you think it's OK for Luton fans to call themselves the Paki Army, or Brighton to call themselves The Faggot Army? -

Disgusting behaviour, should be a life ban for anyone chanting that sort of thing. Same goes for Spurs scum chanting Yids. It doesn’t matter where you are there are always a couple of idiots, In 30 odd years of supporting Saints I can only remember hearing a few racist chants. I’ve heard way more at work or at the pub and it’s been more often than not from old, middle classed conservatives. -

The death of any baby is tragic, it’s particularly tragic for those forced to flee their homes because of the likes of Shamima Begum and her murder cult. -
Valery is obviously going to be a top player, playing him ahead of Cedric wasn't really an issue, it's more the flogging of Cedric without having decent cover if Valery gets injured.
-
To be fair, you changed your mind then started a whole new thread moaning about what you originally agreed with.
-
There’s much more to it than policing but yeah, more police would obviously make a difference. The social media thing just makes the need for greater numbers even more urgent. To be honest, having grown up in a leafy, middle class village in Hampshire I’m not exactly an expert in inner city gang culture. But on radio 5 they covered this subject a fair bit and a Police officer, ex gang member/convict turned youth worker and a school teacher were all pretty much in agreement that Tory cuts in police, youth services/clubs and schools have contributed to the problem, as well as greater inequality and social media.
-
Every case is obviously different but part of community policing (which has been decimated buy Tory cuts) involves the police getting to know youngsters and gaining their trust. Maybe the police could have dealt with nastly little f8cker and stopped him carrying knives long before his beef with your mates son. There’s a lot more to it than just catching people in the act.
