Probably just the tip of the iceberg with regards to future income already spent. Also I doubt the Premier League will advance cash out of goodwill, it will come at a cost.
-
So much for Cortese hating pompey, dump a loyal Southampton company and use a portsmouth printing company that used to sponsor the dirty skate bastards. http://www.bournelocal.co.uk/news/business/saints_get_signed_1_2700092

Relegation from the Championship hurt more, I really thought we would bounce straight back from the Prem but Lowe's second relegation had me thinking we were screwed.
-
Great news they got promoted, would be fantastic if they end up above MKc*nts in a couple of seasons time.
-
I had religion rammed down my throat at school, I have every right to question their beliefs or call them idiots.
-
Because otherwise you might get ridiculed. For example if I went round saying I believed the moon is made of cheese and the Queen is an alien I would be subject to ridicule. Unless of course I could provide proof I was right.
-
You can't exactly blame them, if you believe strongly in something you should be able to provide some evidence that it actually exists.
-
The fact that religious people get offended when you question god's existence just proves that deep down they know it's all b@ll@cks. Someone could argue all day that Matt Le Tissier is a cr@p footballer, I wouldn't get offended because I don't just believe he's great, I KNOW he's great.

I think the "mindblowing" event was just humankind developing a conscience. We've evolved from monkeys, 1000's of years ago all that went through our heads was "must eat, must sh@g, must sh!t, must sleep". We reached a point where we developed enough to wonder why we are here and think about what is right and wrong - religion was born. The more we develop the more religion will be seen as laughable, it's no coincidence that the most religious parts of the world are the most backward.
-
In a century's time people will look back at today's religions and laugh their b*ll*cks off.

I find it really hard to even support England with that fat chav in the side, I can't help wanting the opposition to win with him on the pitch. Same applies for Ashley Cole and John Terry.
-
Nonsense, some things are clearly right and clearly wrong. By your rationale anyone could do anything and it couldn't be deemed wrong because if their own continent/country/town/village/house/head they believe it is right. It's noting to do with being a "liberal democracy", there are plenty of non-liberal, undemocratic places that would consider burning eyes out to be wrong.

I think sentences should be tougher but after watching that Strangways programme last night I would say; a) Prison is a f*cking nasty place to be. b) The reducing time for good behaviour thing is a good idea.
-
I just hope the racist police havn't made it impossible to get justice. It's so far down the line you have to fear too much evidence has been lost/hidden.
-
He committed a bad crime but it is barbaric to do the same thing back. I don't subscribe to this "it's a different culture so it's OK" nonsense, Sharia law is like what normal civilized nations did centuries ago, it's about time these Muslim sh!tholes caught up.

Says England on the badge, Wales can go f*ck off and find their own cricket team.
-
What difference does it make who organises it, the team is England, not England and Wales.
-
Shouldn't be held there anyway, what d!ck decided to hold England test matches in Wales? It's a disgrace that a foreign country gets to host a test match ahead of the Rose Bowl.
-
Swansea v Cardiff will be an interesting final!

This thread is b@ll@cks, Saints approach is no different to any other club. Pucheon couldn't handle the fact that a 17 year old kid was doing a better job than him. His ego would allow him yo sit on the bench so he went out on loan - the same would probably happen anywhere else.
-
I don't see how makes good business sense to not have them on sale now. Surely the earlier they go on sale the better when the feel good factor is up? Maybe they are still working out the best pricing policy.
-
Most on here know f*ck-all. I don't think Cortese has signed one player that they didn't think could play Championship level. This season they will only sign players who can hack it in the Prem IMO.
-
Of course they are in it for themselves, that doesn't mean they didn't sign with the intent of getting Saints promoted to the Premier League - that's the plan they would have been sold. For most of them their best chance of playing Prem football and getting really rich is through getting promoted next season.
-
Think you will find that most of our players signed with the intention of taking the club to The Premier League.
-
Surely that goes against the idea of the WORLD Cup, if only the people with disposable income can watch it. How much are they going to charge people in Africa for example? The last one was sh!t anyway. Crap football played in half empty stadiums.
