The ones currently working have, otherwise they wouldn't be doing the job. Having a pair of norks and a muff instead of a nob won't effect anyones ability to run up and down a touchline.

I expect Richard Keys will go as well, from what I heard he said most of it. Fully deserved IMO, it's hard to see how they can be taken seriously as pundits again after such retarded comments.

Players develop at different rates, just because theo was better at 17 doesn't mean Chamberlain won't end up a better player. It's hard to judge but Theo obviously showed more potential skill wise but Chamberlain looks like he might have a better footballing brain and a more agressive attitude.

Put Messi in any of the Prems top 5 and they would probably win the Champions league.
-
I would have taken him, but fact was four years after being good enough, the manager thought he was too sh!t to go. How can that be good development?!
-
Then four years later regressed to the point where he couldn't even make the squad.

Man U's brand of football is way way more successful, they pass it around too you know. Arsenal always come unstuck, much to over elaborate. The stats speak for themselves, they have won **** all for years despite having a huge array of talent.
-
I agree, Walcott would be a far better player under Ferguson at Man U, learning winning football not Arsenal's tippy tappy ****.

Teams like Man City will just have one of their owner's companies sponsor the club for 'X' millions to bring their income up in line of what they spend.

If you really think we don't need to buy...
aintforever replied to david in sweden's topic in The Saints
Surely it's better to rip off a bunch of plastics who turn up to watch Rooney than the proper supporters who will be travelling to Exeter the following Tuesday? -
It is inevitable he will leave to a big club if they want him. It is completely up to Saints WHEN he leaves though. We could get just as much, if not more, in the summer so I don't see why we would sell him now when promotion is such a vital target.

I'm sorry but that's complete nonsense, we've got a good set up but it's nowhere near the best. There are a handful of players in the Prem but you forget that every other English prem player has come through another club's academy.

That's worth a read just for some of the Ipswich fans' posts... I live in pompie, have any of you been to their ground , 22k stadium that's falling apart. They do not have money. They keep Managing to find the worlds only skint Arabs to buy the club. I can't see how they could possibly offer better turns than us. I also wonder if it says in the samll print- only likely to be paid 6 months out of 12? I agree with Mickeyjb. I live just outside Portsmouth and Fratton park is a S**thole. I can ony assume if he goes it'l be for money as Portsmouth have nothing better to offer than we do. This story has to be litter... A - Portsmouth is a dump B - Fratton Park is a dump C - Portsmouth are an unstable club with no money D - They're one place above us soon to be none E - Portsmouth is a dump Don't care what Cottril says as the bottom line is that Pompey will no way offer the package that Ipswich can and I agree with a previous post that Chuck looked like he still wants to e here. Let's look at the reality Highest pay = Town Nicest area = Town Best stadium = Town Ambition = Town Best area for meeting sailors = Pompey

The problem is this United team doesn't rely on a Ronaldo or Rooney for it's goals, they could chop and change all they want and still smash us for 4 or 5. Wether it's an half arsed Rooney/Berbatov or highly motivated Owen/Hernandez, little difference. The defence is possibly a different story, wouldn't mind seeing Chamberlain up against Gary Neville.

Yesterday's bench: 24 Bialkowski, 12 Butterfield, 17 Martin, 19 Seaborne, 27 Gobern, 09 Barnard, 29 Doble Not a lot there that is going to come on and change the game. I would get another striker and a replacement for Puncheon. -
I think they were in a better position to us when their cup game effected their form - we are playing catch up. In fact Leeds were 8 points clear at the top and 11 points clear of 3rd place going into their tie with Man U.

While this is not a big issue I do fail to see SFC's logic behind this airbrushing out of former greats. Surely the 125 thing shows the value of history and traditions within football. Whenever I have been in the corporate at SMS one of the highlights is chatting and having a laugh with ex pros, listening to their stories and opinions on the game. Saints v Man U is on the TV mainly because it's a replay of 1976 - a traditional romantic FA Cup giant killing - surely it would be beneficial for the club to embrace that? Also I expect the current players look at how ex players (people they admire and look up to) are treated - are they part of a club or just commodities to be bought and sold? There's also a PR issue - the media are always in touch with ex pros like Le Tiss, Big Mac, Shearer, Keegan etc, why is it our interests for them to dislike the club? The whole thing is dumb - what exactly does SFC gain though freezing out these people?

Just seen the first goal on TV, Kelvin should be dropped. He could have smoked a cigar and come out and caught that. I'm fed up with watching Kelvin rooted to his line as the ball drops in the 6 yard box.

Le Tissier Snubbed ticket for United game ?
aintforever replied to Saint Garrett's topic in The Saints
Oh FFS all Matt le Tiss did was try to save the club he loved, if you see that as a negative you are a ****-wit. We all agree that the club is in good hands, no one wants Cortese to leave, that doesn't mean you have to agree with every one of his decisions like some spineless wet mong. All the club legend wanted was a chance to BUY some tickets. That's give £500 of his hard earned to a club he loves to watch a team in a stadium that wouldn't exist if it wasn't for his work. -
I don't see what Lawrie has said that is so wrong there.
-
I made that mistake last time, the Itchen North is a thoroughly miserable place to be when you are getting stuffed and have 7000 glory hunting, manc ****s shouting in your ear.
-
You have to wonder if they had one eye on the Man Utd game? What's the betting they put on a cracking performance for the "big" game, still lose, then turn out another garbage display against Exeter on Tuesday.
-
We should do better, that team was shocking (Paterson, Mclaggon, Ryan Smith etc). But Man U this season are unbeaten and yet don't seem to have any particular stand out players, they could rest eleven and still field a team that could smash another Prem side. I can't see anything other than a comfortable Utd win, though Chambo does give us a puncher's chance of fluking it.
-
We're going to get arse raped and dumped out the cup live on TV by a team we hate - for the 3rd year in a row.

hmmmmm, lights go off with Utaka clean through on goal. Middle Eastern betting syndicate?
