  1. Should have been a minutes silence or applause, typical of the way the club is at the moment that they couldn't be arsed.
  2. My mates mum buys old designer stuff from TKMax then sells it on ebay for a profit. Bit of a sad souless existence but there you go.
  3. If we don't go up the only certainty would be we lose Lallana, Chamberlain and a few others, probably Scheiderlin and Fonte. I think Adkins should stay but wether he will be fired or not is anyone's guess. The Leibherrs might decide to sell the club, but that could be the case if we go up anyway, Chamberlain will leave regardless of what league we are in as well so promotion this year is not that vital. For what It's worth I think we will finish second quite comfortably in the end.
  4. Doubt it, probably playing cards or on their PSPs etc.
  5. Probably what the lads were saying on the coach up to Walsall.
  6. That's my concern, to get promotion we need to out perform one of these, and we are not.
  7. If we fail to go up again then the person who must take ultimate responsibility is Cortese. Adkins is obviously a good manager, if he less successful here than at S****horpe then the Leibherrs have to ask why?
  8. Brighton would fill that ground easily in the Prem. People forget that the demographics of football has completely changed, it's not for the working classes anymore it's all about the middle class families taking their kids to go and see Rooney etc. Brighton like Southampton has a lot of potential because there are plenty of people with money nearby.
  9. Yeah but it's peanuts, probably 2p extra in the pound or something daft. I actually hope they go close to going up, it would make it even funnier next year when they try to rebuild their whole squad on peanuts.
  10. Cameron does come across like a bit of a bellend. His problem is he is completely detached from reality, he is clever enough to try and appear to be in touch with the people but he will never be that popular as long as the silver spoon is up his ass. Labour won't have to do much to kick him out next time. The alternatives are not great though. Clegg is a slimey nonce with no future after playing the honest John card then stabbing everyone who voted for him in the back. Milliband just looks like a Wallace and Gromit charachter who can't even speak right, if labour had appointed the right brother then there would have been someone who could be a decent leader. Unfortunately as ever the internal politics of Labour ****ed things up for them, no one will take that boggle eyed **** seriously.
  11. Not a bad comparison, any team that spends big risks having players turn up just for the pay packet. When you see how they performed against Man U it is obvious that motivation is a problem for games like Walsall, too many players who think just have to turn up to get results. I'm just hoping that being in our current position with games running out gives the players a wake-up call.
  12. Great win, another one on Tuesday could be the turning point with all the others having tricky fixtures.
  13. I'm getting fed up with these Chamberlain stories, one day we hear how he's worth 10million quid and Barcelona want him, then the next day he's made to look ordinary by Walsall and we lose.
  14. How many times do we have to go over this, they will not be liquidated. They will blow off their debt and someone will buy them just like every other club that goes into admin.
  15. Eating meat has been necessary for human survival, wether it is now or not is debatable - in some parts of the world it most definitely is. Eating meat is not cruel but some farming practices are and that's mainly down to today's ****ed up world where money is valued above decency. I try to eat free range/humanely farmed food where I can but you are missing the point - torturing animals for fun is ****ed up, I don't believe even the worst type of farmers just cause suffering for a laugh, it's something they are forced into in order to compete and earn a living.
  16. Looks like I'm in the home end, if you see someone getting a shoeing when we score feel free to laugh.
  17. N'Guissen and Forte have not exactly set League 1 alight.
  18. I don't think we should moan about bad luck. In the last few games Bournemouth have suffered two last minute equalizers and a missed penalty at 0-0, we are lucky they are not 6 points better off.
  19. I'm doing a job that I love, but unfortunately it's a job that alot of other people would love so my boss feels no need to increase my salary which is thoroughly depressing. Having a job you love is not what it's cracked up to be, at the end of the day all that matters in today's world is money - if only they taught that at school.
  20. If we brought in a Jimmy Case we would have to leave out Scheiderlin and that wouldn't go down well on here.
  21. I think motivation is definitely one of the manager's responsibilities.
  22. I think he would have benefited from a pre-season, but I agree, there is no excuse whatsoever for getting beat by sh!t like Walsall.
  23. Wilkins was Cortese's appointment - he sacked Pardew after losing ONE league game.
  24. Same excuses I'm afraid, Cortese dicked about with the manager at the start of the season so Adkins has had no pre-season, just like Pardew.
  25. No excuses, tonight was a sh!t result. Adkins needs to sort it out.
