  1. Why is the England kit always so sh!t and boring, it seems to get worse and worse each time they regularly try to re-hash the dull, miserable plain white idea. As for Saints - a modern take on the Keegan kit would be spot on - that is easily the coolest Saints kit there has ever been.
  2. Whilst it should be a fantastic p!ss up I don't think it's the best timing as far as trying to get promoted is concerned. I don't like the idea of playing catch-up right until the final week where the pressure will be immense, especially as it's more than likely Plymouth will still be fighting for their lives - I can't see them being 6 points adrift or clear before that fixture. Having said that, what a day it would be if both us and Plymouth are 3 points clear going into that game and we both needed a draw.
  3. I get what you're saying but the West cannot dictate how the middle east is run just so it suits us. If Iran wants to sell to China at a reduced rate that's up to them, so is their policy on Israel. Maybe we will be worse off at the end of it, hey ho, that's life. Just build some ****ing windmills.
  4. Who cares what muslim sh!t hole of a country sells us their oil?
  5. I hope the Dictatorship are strung up, there is no place for undemocratic countries in the World today. Thanks to the internet and mobile technology it's just a matter of time before dictatorships become a thing of the past.
  6. The most important thing for Mackaill-Smith now is to not get injured, wether Peterborough get promoted or not makes no difference to his career from now on.
  7. Some of the coverage does seem over-sensationalist, especially Sky News. There's a bit they always do just before the commercial break with a montage of clips with a gloomy music soundtrack followed by "Tsunami, after the break on Sky News". It's like disaster porn. I don't see what harm it does though it can only draw extra attention to the disaster and maybe encourage donations.
  8. It's all OK because they pay some tax.
  9. This is shocking, whole towns just wiped off the map... http://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2011/03/13/world/asia/satellite-photos-japan-before-and-after-tsunami.html
  10. Adkins is doing well, there is obviously room for improvement but anyone who doubts he is doing a bad job needs to look at the state of Charlton and Sheff Weds - now there is two sh!t managers.
  11. Burning wood is carbon neutral, and renewable because trees grow again. You have a point about shipping thousands of tons of wood around Europe though, would be interesting to see how the carbon footprint of that compares to the savings made by using biomass.
  12. I don't believe the nazi c*nt.
  13. Good idea, probably be a bit of an eyesore but renewable energy is the way forward and if you listen to NIMYs you wont get anything built.
  14. This is boring me now, if the roles were reversed we would be exactly the same. I don't see what the issue is.
  15. Typical boll*x you would expect from a marketing manager who probably never even knew who Dean Richard was. Try and list a load of half arsed token gestures to try and paint a picture that they actually gave a sh!t.
  16. I have been nothing but impressed with Gobern every time he has played. The sending off yesterday was nothing to worry about, he just went for an aerial challenge but got the timing spectacularly wrong and ended up raising his legs for balance which made it look like he was trying something kung-foo style. I'm glad to see a young player so enthusiastic, he will learn from it and have a big part to play this season IMO.
  17. I can't even be arsed to read that, I could never bother to read that many words about Bournemouth.
  18. I don't see how largely ignoring your fan base and posting b*llox on twitter can be considered "social".
  19. Who is infatuated with who again?
  20. The club has spent alot for a league 1 club but we've had good attendances, kept prices reasonably high, have no mortgage/debt repayments to make and have had two years of decent cup runs. I heard from someone at the club that the MK Dons JPT semis and the Pompey FA Cup games alone netted us about £1mill between them. Doubt we would be far off break even.
  21. No, the typically Saints thing was being pulled out the hat with Steaua bloody Bucharest in the first round, any normal team would have been drawn against Cork City or the champions of Cyprus. Not us, we get the former European champions.
  22. I don't think All Saints Day should be used as a reason not to show respect to particularly tragic deaths like Dean Richards. He died at a very young age and it wasn't long ago he was our player of the season. It just seemed right to me to have a minutes silence/applause.
  23. The more Americanised the better IMO. They are the world leaders in the entertainment industry, just compare Vegas to Blackpool.
  24. I don't think it looks like him but you can't really tell from that pic. Fair play if he did watch the game from the Northam though, it's always a good idea to keep in touch with your customer base, a lot of chief execs of big companies do the same thing.
  25. Who is supposed to be Cortese in that pic?
