That's just not true though is it. When Howe left Bournemouth for Burnley they were one point behind us in 4th place in League 1. The following season they finished 11th and when he took over for Groves the season after they were near the bottom in October and Howe got them promoted that season.

What a load of bollocks. The season before he joined we stayed up by the skin of our teeth, when Hughes left we were 18th. Ralph has kept us safely mid-table despite spending relatively little, we've had some decent cup runs, played some great football and had the odd win against the big boys. I think the style we play and the players we have mean we're going to have the odd shocking result, it's not ideal but certainly not worth sacking him over.

I thought it was a pen but as others have said, his dive in the first half probably made the ref reluctant to give it.

I disagree, Russia will obviously try and spin it however they want but if we just let Russia compete as normal they will just spin that as the whole world being behind them.
