That's just not true though is it. When Howe left Bournemouth for Burnley they were one point behind us in 4th place in League 1. The following season they finished 11th and when he took over for Groves the season after they were near the bottom in October and Howe got them promoted that season.

What a load of bollocks. The season before he joined we stayed up by the skin of our teeth, when Hughes left we were 18th. Ralph has kept us safely mid-table despite spending relatively little, we've had some decent cup runs, played some great football and had the odd win against the big boys. I think the style we play and the players we have mean we're going to have the odd shocking result, it's not ideal but certainly not worth sacking him over.

I wouldn't say we had a top 10 squad. Saturday was shocking but the important thing is where we end up at the end of the season and we are in a pretty comfortable position. When you look at the amount spent by other clubs in this league, sacking our manager for being mid-table is a pretty risky thing to do.
