The Puel episode is a perfect example of why we shouldn't sack a manager unless we have to, I remember people then saying we could get better and we ended up almost going down.
-
I wouldn't say we had a top 10 squad. Saturday was shocking but the important thing is where we end up at the end of the season and we are in a pretty comfortable position. When you look at the amount spent by other clubs in this league, sacking our manager for being mid-table is a pretty risky thing to do. Reminds me of when Arsenal fans hounded out Wenger for only finishing fourth each season, now they would give their right nut for that.

We all know the media tell lies, as do governments. They always have and always will, it’s just human nature. Saying main stream media lied about Covid just means nothing because there must have been a million things written on the subject, some would be lies, some would just be wrong, some would have been spot on. What was wrong with Matt’s tweet was the fact that he implied a conspiracy that the main stream media is some sort of single entity that is controlled by the government which is just complete nonsense. The dangerous thing about spreading this idea is that in Russia that pretty much is the case. There are probably many in Russia who only know a state controlled media so when they see the truth online it is easy to write off as enemy propaganda not a free press reporting what they see.

That was on a par with The 9-0s, at least then they had an excuse of being a man down. Today was just gutless and shite. The only reason it wasn’t 9 or more was because Chelsea stopped trying for the last half an hour. Was the first time I can remember seeing both teams time wasting at the end. Bunch of cunts for players.

I guess that's how these nut-job theories take shape, Le Tiss has become an idiot magnet. Such a shame, used to be a hero of mine now just a laughing stock.

The best way to become unreliant on foreign imports of fossil fuels is to develop our own clean energy - the Green Party have said this for years. A combination of renewables and nuclear is the only logical way forward long term.
-
Yeah, because you can't get a proper understanding of potential genocide without checking out a pair of tits first.
-
What exactly happened to those specific bodies in Bucha obviously remains to be proven but there is a tsunami of evidence that Russia are committing war crimes. I have yet to see any that suggests it was staged by the Ukrainians. Anyway even if it was that is a million miles from some big 'media' conspiracy which is what the dick-head was inferring.
-
How is this even remotely a left v right issue?
-
What evidence have you seen that would suggest it was staged by Ukraine?
-
Of course it wont make much difference, doesn't make him any less of a twat though.
-
By himself he's obviously not going to change anything, very few people take seriously the ramblings of some thick as fuck ex footballer. But parroting that sort of nonsense is exactly what Putin wants, and if there is one thing this war has shown, it's the power of information.
-
I never let his moronic ramblings about Covid bother me, he was never my hero because of his intelligence. But now it is clear he is just a big-nosed cunt.

Just when you thought it couldn't get any worse. That is truly terrible. It's time the west stopped worrying about Russia's nuke threats and stepped up the supply of proper offensive weapons. Genocide has got to be a red line. Also countries like China, India and Pakistan have got to be told to pick a side. As long as Putin has allies, sanctions can only achieve so much.

No one will ever do anything if they are all waiting for each other, which is pretty much what is happening. We’ve done OK in comparison but the World’s effort as a whole has been piss poor. To be honest I think we are fucked anyway, the capitalist system we have where countries compete against each other instead of work together is just fundamentally incompatible with dealing with a problem like this. In my opinion it’s a no brainier to at least try and be a leader in saving the planet and give ourselves energy security at the same time.
-
But every country can say that and you end up with nothing getting done. Surely it is worth moving to renewables even if it is just to stop us relying on Russia and scummy places in the middle east?
-
To be fair, after Russia’s woeful attempt at taking Ukraine I don’t think we really need to worry that much about the size of our forces.

Calm down sweetheart, no need to get all angry and throw insults around. Wether you agree with the slap or not, or wether his mrs would have preferred him to act differently or not, you can’t deny that he was sicking up for his wife in his own way. A friend of mine suffered from Alopecia after he was made redundant and it was a difficult thing for him to go through, his confidence took a right knock and he is quite a thick skinned guy. I would imagine that for a woman it is 10 times worse, particularly if they are high-profile. There were plenty of people Rock could have taken the piss out of without picking on a woman suffering from hair loss, I don’t have an ounce of sympathy for him getting wacked.
-
This. I have more respect for someone who stands up for their family than someone who takes the piss out of sick women.
-
Na. He went too far with a joke, got slapped. Seems fair to me.
-
Seemed a bit low though, to pick on a woman suffering from alopecia. Gervais has probably said worse at the Golden Globes but It just stuck me as being a bit too nasty. It couldn’t have been easy for Smith to sit there while the whole place laughed at his wife’s expense on national TV when he has probably had to deal with her tears.
-
Na bollocks, sometimes people need to be slapped. I absolutely condone it.
-
Don’t blame Smith, fair play for having the nuts to wack him live on TV in front of millions. Alopecia can’t be a nice thing for a woman to go through.
