Yes but he had the opposite opinion to Noodles on Gaston so he must be a Happy-Clapper!
-
That won`t make you many friends on here!
-
Bloody happy-clapper!!
-
But which I assume that you mean someone with a different opinion to yours and dismissing that opinion in advance?
-
Well done you!
-
So IF someone said that you were a pathetic w*nker with small man syndrome (without knowing you, obviously) that would be opinion rather than insult?
-
Do you know how old adysaint is?
-
No but you are the only to make an insult out of it. Whatever floats your boat I say.

We can all live in hope I suppose, but all the while he gets a buzz from getting up peoples noses, he will stay.

More fodder for the forum "characters" to latch onto. From todays Charles Sale column:- "Southampton executive chairman Nicola Cortese described the club’s head of communications Julius Duncan on his appointment last December as bringing a ‘range of experience and skills that will help keep Southampton at the forefront of communications in the years ahead’. Yet less than three months later Duncan, recruited from financial PR, has resigned apparently because he was unsuited for the post. He certainly had little empathy for football, as shown by the botched PR handling of manager Nigel Adkins’s sacking." What are you favorite Pompey Jokes
miserableoldgit replied to Miltonroader07's topic in The Muppet Show
Two blokes stranded in the desert. One turns to the other and says "I see Pompey lost again". The other one says "How the Hell did you know that?" "Well, it`s Saturday, isn`t it?" says the first one. -
Used to see Ten Years After regularly at The Guildhall back in the day. A brilliant band and Alvin was a superb guitarist. Very sad.

Exactly. i am not too sure what the mods can or will do about this but it does need addressing.

Sadly, probably the reaction that they want.

Glad that it`s not just me being a miserable old git then!

Please don`t feed the knob. Am I the only one who becoming completely ****ed off with the egos of the "characters" on this forum who`s main aim is to post "look at me" and "I am right" so many times (BS nearly 1700 posts since November) because of their need to feel important? This is not about "Opinions". This is about a love of wanting a reaction and the feeling of satisfaction that they get when somebody bites. BS and a few others that I could mention are sending this forum downhill. I have been on this forum, and it`s previous incarnations, for a good few years, but I really am finding these self-appointed know-it-alls incredibly tiresome now. I am quite willing and able to take part in sensible discussions about any subject and am always open to the opposing views to mine, but I could really do without the juvenile needs of some people on here.

Why do some posters take such delight in Saints losing?

Why do some posters take such delight in Saints losing?
miserableoldgit replied to Dibden Purlieu Saint's topic in The Saints
I think that the majority of fans (apart from the forum "characters") have been quite impressed with the way that Saints have played since MP has been in charge. A bad result like todays and suddenly everything is doom and gloom and "I was proved right!". It was one game, albeit an important one. If you are going to judge MP`s reign on this result then I think that you need to have a look at yourselves. I expect that you were all crowing after the Man City result, unless of course you knew better. -
We probably did have the lions share of possession but sadly most of it was in our own half.
