  1. ....yet uses "should've" ... Sent from my HTC One using Tapatalk 4
  2. The people already writing off Osvaldo and Wanyama may disagree. Sent from my HTC One using Tapatalk 4
  3. But it's his opinion. He is free to write players off after three games or one and a half in the case of Osvaldo. Perfectly valid opinion and deserves respect. Sent from my HTC One using Tapatalk 4
  4. I tend to agree. What are the chances of sticking to chit chat? Sent from my Nexus 10 using Tapatalk 4
  5. I do not have a problem with people having different opinions. That is the joy of debate. What I do have a problem with is people who post provocative stuff as "opinion" purely to get a reaction. This is pathetic and tiresome for an "old git" like me - there's that badge again! Sadly the the proportion of posters who fall into that category is increasing on TSW Sent from my Nexus 10 using Tapatalk 4
  6. Why, thank you sir! Sent from my Nexus 10 using Tapatalk 4
  7. I wasn't aware that I did, but I grew up in an age before the internet when generally discussion/argument was face to face. Now it is easy to present any image in an argument because it is anonymous and an ideal opportunity to big yourself up without any real come back. Sent from my Nexus 10 using Tapatalk 4
  8. I have been on this forum and its predecessors for years. I check in regularly for news, rumours and views of other Saints fans, but I am finding it increasingly difficult to participate in threads because they all get hijacked and turned into a "knob waving" competition. As an "old git" perhaps I am expecting too much. Perhaps reasoned debate is old hat and it is all about cyber one-up-manship. Sent from my Nexus 10 using Tapatalk 4
  9. I really like a bit of banter. For some reason I find Bearsy a bit of a laugh. It`s the 'serious' know it all 'characters' who post crap as opinion (the catch it all excuse) to show what 'Billy Big-********' they are that get my goat. Quite happy to debate stuff with people of different opinions providing that they are happy listen to opposing views. Too many on here are not. Sent from my Nexus 10 using Tapatalk 4
  10. Ho hum.... I rest my case. Sent from my HTC One using Tapatalk 4
  11. OK. Is this forum for discussing all things Saints or is it for massaging the ego's of the "characters" who seem to get a buzz from posting crap on here? If it is the latter then maybe there is an opening for an intelligent forum somewhere on t'internet. I am all for banter and a bit of a laugh but I am not sure that TSW is currently the place for any of these options ATM. Sent from my HTC One using Tapatalk 4
  12. I agree. I have been supporting Saints since the mid 1950's. I have spent thousands on the club over the years but my opinions seem to count for nothing compared to the "characters" and know allls that seem to inhabit this forum ATM. Maybe because I am an old git and enjoy constructive debate this forum is not for me. Sad really. Sent from my HTC One using Tapatalk 4
  13. Whatever. Enjoy yourself. Sent from my HTC One using Tapatalk 4
  14. I don't care if you find it "interesting" or not. Any amount of "clever" remarks won't alter the fact that sensible debate is not encouraged anymore on here. Too many people want to be "characters" and big noises on here now. It is becoming incredibly tiresome. Sent from my HTC One using Tapatalk 4
  15. I am quite happy to be shot down so do your worst. This forum is really ****ing me off now. The knee jerk reaction from some of the knob jockeys on here is unacceptable. I enjoy the cut and thrust of sensible debate but the knobs and trolls that have taken over unopposed on here have made me think twice about posting. As I said on another thread, the the lunatics have taken over the asylum. People will say that it's all about opinions. I say that it's all about common sense. Fill your boots. 17. Stories Don't End - Dawes
  18. Not a massive fan of the banjo, but this, by young English player Dan Walsh, is incredible :-
  19. Future to write, are intense hours for Pablo Daniel Osvaldo. The attacker was not the aggregate companions for the friendly match against Ternana, due to a muscle strain remedied with Italy Wednesday in the match against Argentina. Prudence has had the upper hand, did not want to risk it because the negotiations are intense. And the kicker seems to have slightly opened the hypothesis Southampton, ready to put on the plate about 3 million euro bonus included. Today, the English club has won at 90 ', tomorrow there will be further news. Reflects Osvaldo, Roma waits.
  20. I currently work with Mrs Dennis! Sent from my HTC One using Tapatalk 4
  21. Definitely going to! My friend Simon Care play melodeon with Edward II and other bands which include Simon from Fairport. Have always missed Cropredy as it coincides with the end of Sidmouth Folk Week. Will make a special effort next year! Sent from my HTC One using Tapatalk 4
  22. I have always wanted to do this festival. I have always had a great affinity with Fairport even before the crash. I love and adore Sandy Denny. The world lost a lot when she died. "Meet on the Ledge - I'll see you there" Sent from my HTC One using Tapatalk 4
  23. JoeShmoe[h=2][/h] He simply does not want to come here as Banega and Damiao didn't, isn't happening
