  1. Will they be "100%" appealing against this red card too?
  2. Let us know how you get on. I am due for an upgrade soon and really fancied a Desire S.
  3. I know that he is a player that can divide opinions but I think that Guly is a very good player - probably too good for Div1 and I certainly don`t think that he is lazy. I know that he can give that impression but if you watch his chasing back at times and his ability to get stuck in at tackles, I think that he is well worth a place in our squad.
  4. Adkins indicated in his interview that Adam could be back next week.
  5. Apparently Rovers "parked the bus" in their penalty area as well. Were we on it?
  6. Yeah but the ref had it in for them and got it wrong again!! Clotterell say that they are 100% appealling against the red card.
  7. But surely, with the news coverage of the French ban on the burqa (and other religious "items") coming into force yesterday, it at least makes the original post topical and relevant and of interest doesn`t it?
  8. Paper Airplane - Alison Krauss and Union Station and Odditties by Kate and Anna McGarrigle
  9. I am confused. Firstly I see the word "racist" being tossed around on this thread. What race are Muslims, please? Secondly, how is it correct to call people who disagree with your point of view, what ever it is, "retards". I see a fair amount of "pot/kettle/black" there.
  10. I don`t quite understand this. According one or two other posters he is a knob and should be doing better!

  12. http://www.wildgoose.co.uk/displayAlbum.asp?PRODUCT_ID=195 http://www.titanicsongs.co.uk/ With the centenary of the sinking coming up, this could be interesting. Featuring local singer/songwriters.
  13. As it`s Waterloo it should be 18.15
  14. You might have to wait until the Prussians turn up though.
  15. If you played ABBA at least you would please Trousers!
  16. Indeed. The air of disappointment pervading this thread is palpable.
  17. Bugger! I thought that this was going to be a thread about the battle.
  18. Aha! You fell into my carefully laid trap and spotted my deliberate mistake!
  19. The one thing that mystifies me though, is why defenders seem to be able to get away with holding Rickie Lambert as often as they do. Every match, defenders impede him by jumping with their arms around his neck, invariably right in front of the ref and he gets nothing. At the Swindon game, I sat next to someone who doesn`t go to many games and he commented on how many times that our defenders were pulled up for this. I told him to watch how many times the same thing was done to Lambert but went unpunished. He ended up laughing at the obvious unbalanced approach from the ref. I only remember Lambert getting one free-kick last night, despite the desperate attempts to prevent him getting to the ball, although there may have been more.
  20. Mind you, with the amount of time that the Charlton players spent moaning at him, their opinion of his performance might be different!!
  21. Try a few of these buttons occaisionally, especially the bottom left white one.
  22. We love having a good moan at referees, but I thought, for a change, that last nights ref had a decent game. Didn`t blow up for every lttle thing, let the game flow and kept control very well. If I can come away from a game without remembering having ago at the ref once, then he must have done something right!
  23. Could be a problem:- http://www.saintsweb.co.uk/showthread.php?29293-Southampton-tomorrow
