  1. I don`t quite understand this. According one or two other posters he is a knob and should be doing better!

  3. http://www.wildgoose.co.uk/displayAlbum.asp?PRODUCT_ID=195 http://www.titanicsongs.co.uk/ With the centenary of the sinking coming up, this could be interesting. Featuring local singer/songwriters.
  4. As it`s Waterloo it should be 18.15
  5. You might have to wait until the Prussians turn up though.
  6. If you played ABBA at least you would please Trousers!
  7. Indeed. The air of disappointment pervading this thread is palpable.
  8. Bugger! I thought that this was going to be a thread about the battle.
  9. Aha! You fell into my carefully laid trap and spotted my deliberate mistake!
  10. The one thing that mystifies me though, is why defenders seem to be able to get away with holding Rickie Lambert as often as they do. Every match, defenders impede him by jumping with their arms around his neck, invariably right in front of the ref and he gets nothing. At the Swindon game, I sat next to someone who doesn`t go to many games and he commented on how many times that our defenders were pulled up for this. I told him to watch how many times the same thing was done to Lambert but went unpunished. He ended up laughing at the obvious unbalanced approach from the ref. I only remember Lambert getting one free-kick last night, despite the desperate attempts to prevent him getting to the ball, although there may have been more.
  11. Mind you, with the amount of time that the Charlton players spent moaning at him, their opinion of his performance might be different!!
  12. Try a few of these buttons occaisionally, especially the bottom left white one.
  13. We love having a good moan at referees, but I thought, for a change, that last nights ref had a decent game. Didn`t blow up for every lttle thing, let the game flow and kept control very well. If I can come away from a game without remembering having ago at the ref once, then he must have done something right!
  14. Could be a problem:- http://www.saintsweb.co.uk/showthread.php?29293-Southampton-tomorrow
  15. But hasn`t the money dried up because the Leibherrs are not interested and isn`t the club up for sale? I dunno, it`s getting difficult to know which hysterical rumour to believe or not believe. What is this place coming to??

  17. This I think is the point. It was not just the nation but all around the World. I suspect that it is not the sort of image that the Prem would like to present to sell their "product". We all know that players swear, but not straight into a camera when kids are watching everywhere. Bet you won`t see anything like it at the upcoming Rugby WC.
  18. Gordon Lee. I remember the headline in the Echo "Lee`s a Moaner!"
  19. I believe we signed him permanently after his "purple patch" around Christmas time.
  20. Quelle surprise!
  21. I think that he is actually a very good player but that he will not neccessaruly be at his best in Div1. I think that if/when we get promoted he will became a very important player for us (assuming that he stays) in the higher standard of football where he will get a bit more time and space.

  25. Quote from the youtube page:- What a wasted talent by England. Shame on you Glenn Hoddle. At least we saints fans saw his genius and enjoyed it. Herbie TheHelloist 48 minutes ago Don`t let Dalek see it though!
