I take your point but surely, the way that "the man on the Clapham omnibus" thinks about Muslims is that they are, for example, the people who flew planes into the WTC in the name of their religion. He probably has not the faintest idea of what Islam is really about. I don`t particularly see much in the way of resistance to other religions (Sikhism, Judahism etc) and I feel that without the actions of the extreme Islamists, most peoples view of Muslims would be different.

You are quite right. I was sat on the halfway line about 4 rows back and ther were 3 or 4 odd spare seats in that area. In fact I think that there was even 1 in the front row, because I sat there first and didn`t like being level with the pitch so I moved back. If he got thrown out, it was in the second half because he came back down to the front at half time.

Is this the one in Kingland Centre, pretty well on the half way line who just stood there after the game had kicked off and it took 2 stewards to try and get him to sit in one of the odd spare seats. He did look a bit "not all there"!

There is an apparently very funny play based on his War Diaries on up in London at the moment. Might try to see it before it closes. The great man was very old when I eventually got to meet him. He was an utter, utter genius.

Just got back. Not a bad performance all in all. Didn`t take the game by the scruff of the neck but didn`t look like losing. Lambert looked very good in all areas of his game. Lambert and Rasiak look like they could be a very good combination. Gate of 11,000 made it a decent atmosphere as well.

Not too sure that I agree with this. He may be short but he is not scared of the physical stuff. He is a bit of a "Pocket Battleship". I was very impressed last season with his ability to get stuck in.
