Reading this thread has made me realise that I am pleased that I use one of those "5 blade razors". If I was using a cut-throat or old stylee Gillette, I would have slashed my wrists by now.....

It must be. We have so many experts on here who seem to know what is happening with every aspect of Saints tranfer dealings and are convinced that they are correct.....and I am not talking about the Circle of Rust

I am trying to remain positive about this window...and to an extent still am...but I can't get rid of the nagging feeling that we are missing out on targets, and are going to be nowhere near a team that we were hoping for/expected, and that we will be having another "Gakpo" situation on our hands....

Wellington also had the foresight to choose the battlefield. He had senn/scouted the site a couple of years before and set up his position based on his prior knowledge...

I feel reasonably confident that they will get what we need.......I just hate when things are left to the last minute of the TW. Wish things were moving quicker.

No they didn't. They were part of the Allied army led by Wellington. They were driven off by the French at Ligny and Wellington held the field for most of the day at Waterloo. They managed to avoid Grouchy's attempts to find them and managed to arrive on the battlefield toward the end of the day and it tipped the balance in the Allies favour. It was an Allied victory.
