Apparently the debts were £70k or lower. See below. Hi Everyone Sorry to say but now the web site has gone so this is the only way we can keep you up to date with developments. Radio hampshire ltd went in to administration 28/05/09 with a minutes notice to staff. The station was switched off by Jason Bryant CEO of Town & Country Broadcasting. Staff made a proposal to keep working for free and keep the station going for another two weeks in hope a new owner could be found. OFCOM had said this was possible to do but Jason Bryant already had his Engineer Paul Anderson removing station Studio Equipment to make this impossible. As you see in the Echo reports the debt is 70k but it could be much lower. In the last 24 hours there has been interest to get Radio Hampshire or a Southampton / Winchester based station back on air. We are talking to several people to see if their interest proposals are serious. If you wish to contact us please e-mail direct or via Facebook Thank you from all at Radio Hampshire for the support. --------------------

"A bad workman always blames his tools!"

That`s what it`s all about and something that has been sadly lacking for the last few years.

Are you suggesting that Lowe, Wilde and Crouch are not bone fide businessmen??
-
I watched this a couple of weeks ago and I agree with your comments. Well worth seeing.
-
Yes obviously, but I was pointing out the things that you could go to within a short walk of the City Centre.

I agree with this. ATM there is no revenue coming into the club. Normally a lot of ST money would be in the coffers by now. Not to mention Car Park money. If we have to wait another couple of weeks (mid-June?) to finalise things, how soon after this will ST go on sale and money start coming in. The new owners better be prepared to keep the ball rolling for a while. This is without any possible new manager coming in and trying to put together his team for the new season.

Oh well. If we are being silly and clutching at straws - Tom Cruise is quite teeny isn`t he? Would have bodyguards wouldn`t he? Mentioned here today (and previously) along with David Beckham. Must go - time for my medication!

Perhaps the staff were at a meeting of some sort.

You, of course, knew this and didn`t "Google" it, did you? -
Is that not true though Nick. What can any of us do to influence anything?

I am currently working my way through it with a fine tooth-comb, (whatever a tooth-comb is). -
Do you think that it`s a PR one?

Taken from QI website:- 16194. Thu Mar 17, 2005 1:49 pm When Southampton built their new stadium, it was said that it was on an old pagan burial ground, and some bodies had to be exhumed before building could begin. Also, some of the builders were Portsmouth fans and buried various items of Portsmouth memorabelia in the foundations in order to curse the club. Whatever the reason, there were many people convinced that the ground was cursed when the Saints failed to win any of their first 5 games, and a white witch was brought in to exorcise any daemons. Southampton duely won the next game against Charlton: Quote:Southampton were 1-0 up, the fans anxiously waiting for referee Dermot Gallagher's full-time whistle. Suddenly the ball broke on the edge of the box to Charlton defender, Steve Brown who, with the sweetest of volleys, had goalkeeper Paul Jones wrong-footed and a cruel equaliser seemed inevitable. Yet amazingly the ball struck the foot of Jones' right-hand post. It kicked off the stanchion at an amazing angle, veered across the face of the goal and behind the sprawled body of Jones to completely bamboozle the Charlton forwards as it swerved away to safety. Talk about the St Mary's curse, Pagan burial grounds, and evil spirits, but there was something pretty spooky about that one moment. "When it came off the post you start believing in religion again," reflected manager Gordon Strachan, Although Saints fans had their own theories: Quote:The tabloids blamed a "curse" on St Mary's, but that was rubbish. There were two reasons why we were losing games at home... 1) We were playing good teams. 2) We were playing crap. -
Grammar?!! Silly?!!!

Not to mention sales of Season Tickets and possible team building with a possible new manager?

You have now joined "The Elite". Respect to you, sir.

Don`t make any light-hearted posts in that time though. This is serious.
