She is quite correct. If you omit "my family and" from 'a very proud day for my family AND ME' it makes sense which it doesn`t if you use "I". That in general is the rule.

I may be wrong but I can`t believe that many (if any) clubs would have a £200m transfer budget for next season, let alone The Mackems. Incedently, there was a rumour around early last season that WGS was coming back and would be manager by Christmas. Oh well.....
