  1. Doris the Tea Lady??
  2. Just watching "Soccer Extra" and Glenn Hoddle is on the sofa (dalek2003 is probably sat with a box of tissues on the arm of his chair!) and he was bemoaning the lack of special players when he was England manager. Pity he treated one particular "special" player the way he did then!
  3. You are probably right but I just thought that is a bit unfair to judge him purely on the situation that he is in now.
  4. TBF he went into Newcastle in a terrible position and with his hands tied- having to do with the players already there. Bearing in mind the fact that it would appear that we will be losing many of our players, any new manager would be able to build his own team. This may show Shearer in a different light. It is unfair to judge him on his current performance at St James Park.
  5. I generally agree with what you say but Wilde deserved much more of the blame than you give him. Lowe could/would not have returned without Wildes support. You had better apportion some blame to Lawrie McMenemy too, or 19C will be on your case!
  6. That`s a euphemism for something, right?
  7. Now that`s worrying!
  8. Yes. Potential.
  9. Presumably there will new washing machines for washing the kit.
  10. In the same way as Vinnie Jones likes to live up to the hardman image, you seem to want to live to your deliberately antagonistic one. If you genuinely think that LM and LC have done more damage to the club than RL and MW, then you also are trying too hard. They all have to take a proportion of the blame for our demise but I think that the latter pair take the majority.
  11. Maybe for the pig?
  12. But surely the point is that with a decent manager he could be turned into a very good player. It is not his fault that he has been built up. Hopefully he can mature with us.
  13. The Island Folk cd from this months copy of "Mojo".
  14. But don`t you think that he was made to feel "untouchable" by other people?
  15. I just asked a question based on another thread, but as it is that important to you - carry on.
  16. Whilst TBH I find it difficult to find many positives as far as player performances go, I have to stand up a bit for DMG. He was identified by Lowe and Poortvliet as the answer to our central striker position, which he quite patently wasn`t. This was not his fault. It was not his fault that he was continuosly picked by the manager.Did people expect him to say "I am not playing well so drop me"? When he was played in his "proper" position he performed better. He can score goals and he has some good close control. IF we could keep him and we get the right manager then he could be quite an asset in L1.
  17. I am sure he got the message. He is a very sensitive and perceptive person.
  18. After all the furore on here does anyone know if Lowe was actually at the Forest game today??
