But surely, if theres an "r" in the month it f**ks everything up?!
-
No texts today then MB?

Taking too long for who though? Us lot on here, because we are desperate for some positive news? The only person that KNOWS what is going on is FRY, not people on an internet forum (inc the "ITK`s"). I am as frustrated as everyone else, but we will just have to wait and put our trust in Fry to do the right thing.

When we won the Cup in 76 Mike Channons Testimonial was played on the Monday night and the place was bursting at the seams.

"More Shops and Hotels - Who Needs Amenities??" Don`t forget the Lido!

Shouldn`t Fry be the best judge of this? He is the professionional.

I would love to have both Saints and Premiership Rugby. I can remember when we used to have top class Football, Cricket, Speedway, and Ice Hockey in the City. If Saints go, it will all be gone and replaced with....???

So, he can regenerate more times than Dr Who??? Oh f**k! Lowe and Wilde Return!!!

Echo does mention a third mystery bidder. http://www.dailyecho.co.uk/sport/saints/news/4366919.Still_talking_over_Saints/

How many lives does he have left??

You do wonder at times how many posters on here are more interested in D&D than they are with Saints!

Maybe we will see how much power the mystical "The Cloak of Anonimity" really has!

I think that this is a bit short-sighted. If (and it maybe a big if) the "MJ Bid" is accepted by Fry, then you have to assume it is the right bid. MJ may not have very good track record, but I assume that he is not putting any money in himself, and that he is just acting as an agent for those that are. The proof of any pudding is in the eating as they say and I think that Fry is probably good enough at his job to sort the wheat from the chaff (too many proverbs/metaphors - sorry) and accept the best bid. Let`s be honest, how many people thought that WGS was a good appointment when first announced? Now he is looked upon as a Demi-God! Let`s not do too much pre-judging.

Perhaps we will see how warlike some of the "Cyber Warriors" now.

The fact is that we don`t know if talks have broken down or not. The only "information" that any of us have is what is put forward on this forum. We are so desperate for news that we all (myself included) cling to any old tat that appears here. There is no problem with that - it meets some sort of need in us and in a perverse way is a bit of fun. We have to assume that Fry is good at his job and that he knows what he is doing. Lack of news could be looked at from both angles. It could be that things are going "tits up" or it could mean that Fry is playing one off against the other to get the best deal. The bottom line is that none of us actually KNOW what is going on (even those with the the most extreme opinions) so we need to let Fry do his job. Nothing that we do can change that. We need to be even more patient.

If It Can Happen to Us....Look out P**pey!

Todays installment:- Troubled Portsmouth, whose £65m worth of debts include £40m owed to the South African Standard Bank, look to have no choice but to sell players to survive. The bank expect a substantial payment at the end of the season while owner Alexandre Gaydamak has loaned the club £25m but is not prepared to invest further. -
What about Jimmy Krankie??

If It Can Happen to Us....Look out P**pey!

You will be, you will be..... Whilst obviously there is an element of that, I think that some of those currently enjoying our "situation" need to be aware of their own problems. "The Bigger They Are (debts that is) the Harder They Fall" and all that. -
From Charles Sale in todays Daily Mail:- Portsmouth's financial problems are now serious enough to be causing major concern to the Premier League. They are worried that the club may not be able to continue much longer as a going concern with sustainable debt — especially now the League have announced they are strengthening their monetary checks and improving transparency of ownership on the back of questions about football governance by Culture Secretary Andy Burnham. It is proving difficult to unravel the exact state of Portsmouth’s finances because the ultimate company that owns the club is based in the financial labyrinth of Luxembourg, where Pompey owner Alexandre Gaydamak has varied interests.

Are you suggesting that Fry doesn`t know what he is doing?

Totally agree. I wish that I could watch top-class Rugby down here. Suppose Quins is the easiest to get to though isn`t it?
