Apparently he was interviewed on SSN about this. Anyone have a link?? Should be good for a laff!

Thought Jason Crump was good value for his win in Latvia last night. Superb move in the final to come from the back.

And a good advert for the sport to any new-comers.

More often than not I have to react almost immediately because sub-contractors have found a problem and if it is not solved they will not earn money and tight programmes will be affected. We all make mistakes in our lives/job (except you obviously) and it`s how we react and rectify them that is important. I am not negative as far as JP is concerned. I am quite confident in his ability to make Saints competitive and am looking forward to an exciting season, it`s that I am concerned as to whether he is able to, or has the playing staff to change things when the passing game is not working. We did not get going yesterday and a bit of desperation and long-ball crept in. Thats all. I hope that the spelling is a bit better this time (sorry that you were offended) and , yes, multi - million. Why the quotation marks?

It was actually in the paper itself.

Unfortunately I work in an industry were I have no direct employees under me- all sub-contract. I manage multi-million pound contracts with a work-force that is only interested in themselves, but it`s that gets the credit/takes the blame at the end. I have to make sure that the job is a success by any means available. If it does not work one way I have to find a viable way of doing it (Plan B). JP has to do the same. If the passing game does not work then has to change things during games to get 3 points. ATM I don` think that he can.
-
I sit in the Kingsland and IMHO he was like a headless chicken. He gave the ball away too many times and tried to run through players.

I am not a Football manager. I am a manager in another industry. If I plan to do something and it doesn`t work then I have to find an alternative way to achieve success. All I am saying is that our game plan is to out pass our opponents. If this doesn`t work then there has to be a different effective approach. ATM if the passing game is ineffective for whatever reason (Kids too tired, Blackpool brilliant -I don`t know) then there has to be an ability to change the style and emphesis. What that change of style is is down to JP not me. I`m not sure why this is difficult to understand.

I must admit that I was surprised that he played no part today. He was MoM on Tuesday.
-
Surely this is just semantics. Yes, Plan B probaly is a buzz word but it doesn`t alter the fact that if the passing game (Total Football?) that we have played successfully in both pre-season and in league games doesn`t come off, as it didn`t today, there does not appear to be an effective alternative other than the long ball that we reverted to out of desperation at times today.

3 Celeb's you fancy the most and why?
miserableoldgit replied to Tac-tics's topic in The Muppet Show
Oh and I forgot Kelly Brook (Perfect body) Tanya Streeter (World Champion Free Diver - Perfect Body) Sharron Davies (No chicken but still quite hot!) -
Totally disagree. He was like a headless chicken most of the time and continuosly gave the ball away. Waste of space,

Sorry Pancake. Started another thread for this. Glad to see that you haven`t gone for stereo-type though!!:roll:

O.K. I`ll start. Les Mis - Everything about it brilliant. Music, staging, atmosphere. Never ever get fed up with it. Ragtime - Much under-rated. Deserves to be performed more often. Showboat -Nearly 90 years old. Absolute quality. Miss Saigon - Very moving. Billy Elliott - Not twee, Staggering performance from young kids. Lord of the Rings - Saw this just before it closed. Unbelievable staging. The modern musical is a much under-rated and much maligned medium, mostly by those who haven`t seen them.

Mylene Klass (See "I`m a Celebrity) Kara Tointon (Because) Naoko Mori (Sultry) -
TBH the phrase "No Plan B" is haunting me ATM. Plan A is brilliant when it works.

Were you saying this 24 hours ago?

I think that this came from the Echo website. Some **** kept posting comments to every Saints related story which consisted of "Lowe out and take those Dutch Donkeys with you". WUM, Skate, mentalist or combination of the 3 I think.

Mickey Evans our most inspired signing?
miserableoldgit replied to SaintDonkey's topic in The Saints
As a bit of business I suppose Dean Richards has to figure somewhere. Signed on a free, turned some magnificent performances and sold for £10M(?) -
I think Jim Magilton scored 2 against them in an FA Cup game at the Dell. He nearly had a hat trick when he should have passed the ball to someone in a better position but went for glory and failed!

If we coriander way we`re going we will do well this season(ing).

Sorry. I didn`t see it but it`s not a bad article (fairly positive national press coverage at last) so may be worth, as you say, a thread of it`s own.

Barto wanted this so I have done it for him! What are peoples favourite musicals and why?
