I read the thread title quickly and thought it said "Concorde Club"; couldn't work out what all the fuss was about.

It was a little weird actually as he said this a first time, before being pushed for a more solid statement of interest from the interviewer. He then retracted it a little by saying something like "I'm not currently involved with any bids as I'm still suffering from high blood pressure as a result of a tough nine months." When pushed again, he came back with "I wouldn't rule it out as I still love the club and want to build it up." Personally, I think he's just flirting with us;)

They've been showing excerpts of an interview with him during the morning on SSN as well. The most interesting comments would be that he refuses to rule out a return because he loves the club and still wants to build it up. He didn't state a long-term admiration for Alpine as a defining influence on this desire though.

I don't think one person being ok dismisses a strong feeling amongst many people that football violence off any kind should not be tolerated.

As usual, the popular areas of the ground are filling up fast. I was trying to buy three adjacent seats and I couldn't get anything in blocks 7 or 31 (halfway line). I expect season ticket holders snap up these seats though.

I'm not sure, I just asked "how many have we sold". I'd hope that the figures mentioned are always home fans only numbers but we've no way of knowing.

I thought there was ticket info on the os. It's normal prices except kids for a quid. With so many games in quick succession, and a sellout probably out of the question, I expect many people will want to wait and see how we do in the next two games before parting with their cash. It's a shame though ... I really hope we can keep up the approx 25k attendances for these last two games.

I was a little disappointed to learn that we'd only sold approx 16k tickets for Palace as of about midday today. Perhaps I'm a little too optimistic but hopefully things will pick up the pace a bit as the week goes on? What with Watford, Wolves and Palace in quick succession, we're going to have a clearer picture of our survival chances this time next week.

Leon's actions seem to imply more than a supporting interest in the club. It may be that he is just keen to hhelp find a buyer but I'm a little concerned that he has ambitions with regards to getting back into a position of power. I remain unimpressed with his first stint in charge and am a firm believer that you don't automatically know how to run a football club just because you are a passionate fan.

Hence why woopert only spent £90k on players in our first season in the Champ eh?

Ince is probably the most sensible option; an ambitious and yet, to some extent, realistic appointment. Our assessment that he went to the prem too early would have to be echoed in his own mind if he is to take the step down though, and this may be the stumbling block.

Perhaps we could have an update soon which will let us know if any other places have become available? I'm sure this will be on its way.
