thats what i was thinking too. it maybe that he is playing to stay here but cant really be blamed if he is playing to find his next club. we have him till the end of this season though and that is what matters right now. would probably be looking to offload 1 or 2 high earners anyway (or renegotiate some contracts) unless we can find another way to get some money in for next season.

I think that is the reason that is suggested TBH. He was injured but there have been plenty of games where he should have been available and considered and wasnt. He was kind of stuck though. If he was on the money that has been reported he was unlikly to find another club when he cant get into our team unless he was prepared to take a big hit in his wages. So sit here and take the money or take the hit and move on? im glad he stayed now

Surly if one of the reasons he hasnt played is down to not being able to afford to pay his wages then the new offer will not match what he is already on? blimey. BBC tatter came on and just went on about how bad Ipswish were. Im fed up with how many times we win because the opo had a bad day. They hit the bar and missed a sitter and KD made a few saves. We missed an open goal and had a few narrow misses and had 2 goals disalowed yet we only won cause they were carp? BBC reporter just said that its Ipswich playing absolutly awfully and cant hit a pass anywhere on the pitch. Mules goal seperates things and DMCG narroly missed. No mention of saints being the cause for Ipswich playing badly or us playing good for that matter and no mention of either disalowed goal which I would have thought would have been reported on?

taking nearly 30 secs to react to any function as opposed to under 5 secs any other time is enough for this generation to get arsey IMO. Not sure if I am going to blame lowe or wilde for this one though

At this stage it is only our results that we really need to worry about. sure others come into it butthose closest to us now might not be who we are battling with come the end of the season. As long as we keep picking up the points the pressure will be on the others to do the same. 3 points tonight is vital IMO

I was gona say that. It may as well be the Forrest team of the week. To be fair we have been shyite all season yet got back to back wins against the 4th place team in the CCC, KD played a blinder as did many others in our team and yet Surman gets the plaudits. I dont get it?

Im not disagreeing with you or Hypo but I dont see how this can be right. We are happy to blame the board when things go wrong but they dont eget any credit when things go right? I wouldnt say this season is a success no matter where we end up from now but if the target is to survive and always has been this season then if we manage it the target has been met. Success would IMO be mid table and upwards and we have no chance of that. But where we were obviously heading for Relegation the blame ay firmly at Rupes feet. Now we have a hint of surviving it has nothing to do with Rupes? Cant have it both ways IMO. Rupes/Board made mad decissions and the team didnt perform put us in the mess. Rupes/Board 2nd plan appears to work better and the team are now performing. Blame and Praise should be aimed more at the team than the board.

kin hell that 2nd save is world class and we had much plenty of chances to put the game out of reach. we were the much better side and fully deserved that result.

Ah you may be right and if you are that still leaves 5 or 6 teams fighting it out to avoid 1 place. there are enough teams on the dowward slope IMO to give us more than a fighting chance as long as we continue on the upward slope. Its still in our hands and I think we can do it.
