  3. As if it couldn't get worse for Corbyn. The LBC political editor Theo Usherwood has just tweeted a video of a lady heckling the police and army at Downing Street. She was wearing a Jeremy Corbyn bag emblazoned with the word 'hope'. Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
  4. I'm perfectly capable of figuring out for myself that Corbyn and Abbott would not be capable of responding so you can stop the condescending rubbish right now. Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
  5. Corbyns response to Manchester yesterday left me absolutely furious. A weak ass mumbling response to a horrendous attack. The man is not fit to lead. Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
  6. She is being interviewed by the best interviewer in the Country. I Look forward to how the remainder of the leaders cope with Brillo. Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
  7. If you go into a care home you have to sell your house. And get to keep 23k. Didn't apply to people who recieved care in their own home. The new thing would apply to everyone, but you'd remain with 77k more than currently. (100k rather than 23k) Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
  8. "in 2016, financial and insurance services contributed £124.2 billion in gross value added (GVA) to the UK economy, 7.2% of the UK’s total GVA. London accounted for 51% of the total financial and insurance sector GVA in the UK in 2015. There are over one million jobs in the financial and insurance sector (3.1% of all UK jobs). The UK had a surplus of over £60 billion on trade in the financial and insurance sectors in 2016. In 2015-16, the banking sector alone contributed £24.4 billion to UK tax receipts in corporation tax, income tax, national insurance and through the bank levy." You penalise the banks too much you muck up the country's economy Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
  9. By the way. If austerity had actually happened, we'd have reduced the defecit to 0 by now. And the labour manifesto is nowhere near fully costed. John McDonnell was on Marr yesterday, admitted the nationalisation would involve borrowing. Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
  10. He was in charge of the stop the war coalition. The group that only started protesting about Syria when The US fired missiles in. They're not worried about the Russians or Assad. Funny that. Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk

  16. no. but I do find it amusing that the screenshot was produced by the "Soton Marxists" Facebook page. if you want the official response... "In response to a recent comment made by an ex-committee member of Southampton University Conservation Association I would like to stress that the society is not officially affiliated with the Conservative party. The views expressed belong to the member in question only and are not reflective of the party, the society or any other members. They are not a member of the Conservative party itself of our society. As President of the society I would like to apologise to nurses everywhere and thank them for their hard work and dedication. We do not condone the statement made and an investigation is currently underway.” obviously you get the of bad egg in any party. For example Labour have the odd IRA and Hammas Supporters as members.

    Travellers

Only one of the three manifestos to feature Travellers is the Labour Manifesto "We will end racism and discrimination against Gypsy, Roma and Traveller communities, and protect the right to lead a nomadic way of life." what that involves is anyone's guess.
  18. We have a peace where soldiers who were doing their job during the job are still hounded and threatened with criminal investigation yet terrorists who killed civilians and disappeared people are unprosecutable. A peace created by Blair offering too much. Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
  19. she wasn't asked the numbers. Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
  20. I know this one... It's because labour were launching a huge new policy and thrust Dianne Abbott onto a round of 7 interviews. She as the Shadow Home Secretary should have had all the details when launching get own policy. She didn't. Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
  21. I think Jez has lost the plot... https://order-order.com/2017/05/19/jez-not-understand-tory-social-care-policy/ Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
  22. Yes. Personally I think it's a disastrous policy. But on balance Less disastrous than the labour manifesto. Personally. I think I'd rather 1p on NI solely for post retirement care. Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
  23. In the leaders debate 80% of the leaders debateing were against Brexit, yet 78 % of the public want to get on with it. Maybe they need to get better engaged with democracy. Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
