    I spent over 10 years watching him spin his magic all over the pitch, pull us out of the S*** over and over again and almost single handidly keep us in the top division every season. He did so despite the fact he could have left and trebled his income on so many occasions. I was priveleged to watch him!

    And on what basis do you assume a) the rumour is true? b) it is driven by Cortese and not Adkins? I personally would have thought if you want to tighten a defence the Italian league is not a bad place to look given the defensive nature of that league!

    Apart from one corner his delivery was almost schoolboy like in standard! Yes he has pace but little end product!

    Of all our signings only Clyne so far seems to be consistently good the others (Gaston, Rodriques, Mayuka, Davies and Yoshida) have all yet to prove themselves by living up to their transfer fee, although Yoshida seems to be almost there now! Our other two new sucesses so far this season have been Shaw and Puncheon both already at the club!

    Why no Rodriques or Lee? De Ridder not up to it (couldnt really get into the championship side), Mayuka still raw and a bit light weight! Wrong team wrong tactics MON found us out!
