  1. Leon is a very decent guy who loves this club as a true supporter. Those that have met him will recognise that. I for one would be delighted if he were involved in the future of the Club in some capacity. I'm also aware that people who can be of great influence in these critical days ahead like him alot, but they have no time for Lowe and Wilde. Regards Morph
  2. I think they will be far more helpful with Salz and his team in charge. All IMHO of course. Morph
  3. Roswell, I don't know anything like the full picture. I only know a very small part of the picture at any time. That is why I do not wish to impart much information on this board and be ridiculed when it does not become fact because of an issue I knew nothing about. I would much rather impart my information to someone like Duncan who is more in tune with the overall picture. Hope that clarifies things Regards Morph
  4. Duncan, I agree. My guess is that the ownership of the stadium and the ownership of the club will now separate. Regards Morph PS: I've e-mailed you an update .
  5. Duncan, You have mail. Regards Morph
  6. According to the Independant there is the possibility of 9 Clubs following Darlington, of which we are one : http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/football/news-and-comment/the-last-word-five-clubs-will-follow-us-into-administration-1645305.html And BTW I know absolutely nothing about what is going on in the background ATM. All very quiet from where I sit. Regards Morph
  7. Mary is a terrific person and great company and would be a great addition to the board (for those that have not met her she brings that touch of the "Winchester Tennis Club Committee" to proceedings ie commitment, history, dignity etc, but I'm sure Leon will have a proven Chairman and Chief Executive in mind to take the heat post Lowe / Wilde. All IMHO of course Morph
  8. Tim, There may be something here, particularly in the 70's section : http://www.mickchannon.tv/extra.php Good luck Regards Morph
  9. John B, Your post reminds me of a great quote from John Cleese in the film Clockwise circa 1986. "Despair, I can cope with the despair. It's the contant hope that kills you" FWIW, things must now be coming to a head. We cannot carry on with Lowe and Wilde, thank goodness Leon still appears interested. Regards Morph
  10. Just waiting for the inevitable All IMHO of course Morph
  11. Duncan, I feel like repeating myself This is a complete shambles, but certainly nothing less than we would expect from Lowe. Even someone like Lowe must feel on the run now and Wilde must be feeling like a rabbit caught in the headlines, don't you think? I believe the end is now nigh, but it is so disappointing. I am constantly reminded by my friend in the Itchen Centre that this regime must be seen to fail before others far better will consider taking over and taking us forward. I was concerned that you felt that Lowe could possibly take over post administration. Maybe he has joined forces with Dennis Roach, who knows All the best and of course all the above is IMHO. Morph

  13. You might well ask Kind Regards Morph
  14. Ron, Not wishing to name drop, but I was sat next to John Motson in the Directors Box at the S****horpe game during Leon's tenure. What a terrific guy and great Saints fan and he loves all things statistics, so he would love Duncan's "In that number". I believe he has a home in Bournemouth. Kind Regards Morph
  15. And the Daily Telegraph now seems to agree with you Stanley http://blogs.telegraph.co.uk/samgreen/blog/2009/01/07/grim_reaper_stalks_southampton_in_2009 So do I for what it's worth. Regards Morph
  16. I've always been advised, from some time back, that, without investment, we would probably go in to administration by Feb 09 based on us disposing of our more expensive players and based on our maintaining average gates of 17,000. Clearly our average gates are less than this, our disposals may be more, but of course the credit crunch has now struck, so without any sign of an investor out there I would suggest that things are probably looking very bleak. I wonder if we would have been better off taking the SISU deal when it raised it's head and was rejected by certain parties who now sit in the Directors Box Regards Morph
  17. This is the best site for you non subscribers : http://www.atdhe.net/ IMHO Kind Regards Morph
  18. Leon, There is nobody else at this moment. But Leon does have the support of some good people out there. Regards Morph
  19. Terrific to see you posting again Duncan. Wonderful opening question at the AGM. I feel we now need to support Leon now more than ever. I'm sure the rest will then follow. I certainly know one or two who will Regards Morph
  20. IMHO there are no serious potential investors out there presently. But, in Leon Crouch we have a strong leader who is a great Saints fan and has tremendous support from many important sectors. It is imperative that we get Leon in and Lowe and Wilde out as soon as possible if we are to move forward. There are some very good and influential people out there that will support Leon, but will never ever support Lowe and Wilde and their cronies. Regards Morph
  21. Ron, When I last had contact with the inner circle (prior to the Lowe/Wilde circus rolling in to town) it was anticipated that administration was inevitable by Feb 2009 unless investment was forthcoming and that was based on average crowds of 17000. So what has changed ? Kind Regards Morph
  22. With regards the AGM, a superb opening question from Duncan and delighted to see that Leon was in good form. The days of Lowe, Cowen and now Jones are now well and truly numbered don't you think? Time will tell Only problem is I don't see any investors out there ready to take over at this particular point in time. Regards Morph
  23. Tim, It's this guy : http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=JHmJEpwMvfk Merry Xmas and thanks for your comments on the 3rd Half on Radio Hampshire which are always most entertaining. Kind Regards Morph
  24. I'd love to but I was at the Forest game and it hurt. Regards Morph
  25. Leon is a terrific guy and great saints fan to boot and is well supported by Salz and his friends. But be concerned that Lowe and his friend Dennis Roach have other plans. All IMHO of course Kind Regards and a Merry Xmas to you all Morph
