  1. I'd rather half of them were punished by being put on a train, preferably the Trans-Siberian Express.
  2. Hearing this morning Forster to join Spurs - if true, this may go some way to easing the previous bad blood on transfer dealings between the two clubs.
  3. The clinical diagnosis is passive non-aggressiveness. Every season.
  4. This is rather pessimistic, I have it on good authority that Martin Semmens has booked into the Premier Inn Gloucester with a view to offering the Euro-Millions record winners a seat on the board - Dragan is much more proactive that Gao!
  5. Likely Ralph’s swansong and he’ll want to leave on a high - 3-1 Leicester, Vestergaard hat-trick.
  6. More of an FA Cup semi-final this time round.
  7. Saw this and assumed that he'd finally come out of the closet or been implicated in the Hatton Garden job.
  8. This should be obvious really, given that we are all attracted or retained by the delights of Ocean Village and the New Forest. Shocked to see Liverpool above Arsenal, if it was emotional intelligence their collective percentile would rival a maternity ward.
  9. Saints should get a 6 point boost for services to geriatric medicine for those contracts.
  10. Great to hear that your Dad is doing well Cathy, and the best of luck with the match, hoping to make it over to Totton this evening. Looking after and out for a parent with dementia is extremely tough and can be exhausting. Your Dad was a favourite of mine as a kid, especially alongside Dave Watson, the epitome of a hard as nails solid centre half - boy could we do with in the side now.
  11. Short sleeves as well!
  12. I’ve got the later version which says ‘Ralph is a hampton’
  13. I know, it's bloody fanciful of course, but Kovac would certainly cement the ambition that we are told this board possesses. Also as a duo we'd finally find out if our last spell of relative ascendency was founded partly on PM's nous, or lady luck Watch us unveil Sean Dyche and Wally Downes on August 31st...
  14. Kovacs is a really good shout IMO. He had Mitchell as his Sporting / Recruitment Director at Monaco (though PM still there, don't blame him), and that pairing would be great for Saints in terms of development should the new board have genuine ambition to build a new model from a solid foundation.
  15. Lawrie Mac and MLT dream team, loads of experience and the pressers would be electric.
  16. Tin hats lads, expect tunnel jog Ralph rather than a teary Klopp of the Alps Ralph this time round. Pick a number between 5-10.
  17. It will likely take a sex scandal to remove Ralph at this stage. Just got off the phone to big Neil Shipperley and he can be at Staplewood on Monday 9am if we have a whip to pay for a full tank in the Transit.
  18. Is this for a porn shoot?
  19. Stockport County's fanbase will be ecstatic!
  20. Best in my time was Steve Williams, succeeded his mentor Bally as skipper at 25 and led the side to runners up and an FA Cup semi in 83/84. He had the lot as a captain in terms of guile, flair and steel and absolutely detested losing and teammates and the opposition knew it. Short lived in the role with the Arsenal move but it took him to another level which was brilliant to watch. When you revisit matches from that period in the club's history on video the energy, intensity and commitment really hits you, a team with character that did everything in their power to win games for Southampton.
  21. Blue shirts, white shorts, red socks - accompanied by an invasive sense of self loathing and geographical inferiority?
  22. Young, hungry and guaranteed to improve!
  23. "Oh mate..." Perpetually thick as mince our Chazza. Strip away the stardust and Armani and you are left with a dinlo hod-carrier from Hungerford.
  24. Obafemi's dip in form has coincided with the reopening following refurbishment of the drive-in KFC in Swansea, he's only a serious chip pan fire away from a golden boot next season.
